With the answer given, Shakti had no choice but to accept this situation. However, that didn't mean she'd do so willingly, and so, with her reluctance to accept this written all over her face…
"Fine, but Ardee needs to spend more time at home than she has been lately. And, we're going to cash in on that training, and expedition now-"
Shurry couldn't help but interfere at this point. "Sorry big sis Shakti, but I can't agree to take anyone else from your familia down into the dungeon yet. You need to get used to the training methods first, otherwise you'd either gain nothing from the expedition, or you'd lose it all." He spoke in a clear tone that laid out the difficulty of the task, while hinting at the training's severity.
"Is a training method truly that grueling?"
"Yes, I'll bring a copy of it in a bit."
"Lord Ganesha, can you update my status while he's gone?"
"I am Ganesha! Of course I can sweet Ardee! Let's see how much you've grown."
"I am Shurry! I'll be back soon with the copy." Shurry said, gave Ardee a kiss, then left.
Shakti was stunned, but withheld her complaints, then she too left the room, trying her best to hide the tears she still had running down her cheeks.
"She's taking this hard. But I think she knew deep down that this would happen one day. I am Ganesha."
"I think my sister was hoping that Shurry would come here instead." Ardee said, taking off her shirt and facing away from Ganesha.
"AHAHAHA! That's impossible. She'll understand why once she has the same experience. Taking a kid away from their mother is already a terrible thing, but to do it to a goddess of motherhood, impossible." He laughed in his hearty way, then glanced at the blessing upon Ardee's back. It can't be… Did she actually get another thing? Let's check before I freak out. He poked his finger, and dropped the ichor upon Ardee's falna. "Ardee, what exactly did you do down there? I'm not even sure how to explain this? It should be impossible… But you earned the right to level up again. And, a couple of your abilities broke the 999 cap."
"I don't want to level up just yet, I just wanted to know if I could."
"So you want just a regular update then?"
"Yes. I don't see a reason why I need to level up right now."
Shurry returned with the book, and entered the room, Ardee was still in the middle of her update. Instead of shying away, she smiled, ran over to him, giving him a hug.
"Shurry, I earned the right to level up!"
"I knew you could do it!" His tail wagged.
"Wow, you two must have been around each other a lot like this. I am Ganesha." He chuckled, then did the final steps to finish the status update. "Ardee, you gained an interesting skill this time. It's something that you can really use, it's for me, I was able to up all of your abilities from previous levels. The skill is called Amendment. The cost is fairly steep though, it burns the high quality excelia."
"That's so cool Ardee! You can level up, and then still continue to update your previous levels!"
"Oh that's really cool! I won't lose out on my potential anymore!"
"Huh? I thought you'd be upset? This skill exchanges a level up for improvement of previous levels. Isn't it hard to get level up opportunities? I am Ganesha?"
"Not for us. See, it's right here in the book." Shurry said, handing the book to Ganesha to read.
Ardee went for her shirt, brought it back to Shurry… "Help me put this on Shurry, then let's go see the others in the training area."
Shurry helped Ardee put her shirt back on, a task she has no issues with herself, this was purely just how close they were. Ganesha found it more interesting than the book, until…
"I AM GANESHA! Shurry do not share this with anyone else, ever! It's far too dangerous… If Evilus were to get their hands on this, they'd quickly become unstoppable."
"No, not really, everyone still has their own limits. Bokhoir just reached level 6. And to really gain anything in that method you need someone to rely on when things go wrong, that's me. Evilus doesn't have that."
"Who else have you shared this with?"
"My familia, Astraea familia, Mother Idunn, and Father Baldr. Oh, and now you."
"Keep it that way for now. If level ups became this widely known, and easily performed, there would be no end to the number of higher levels…"
"A level up still requires their god's permission."
"Even so-"
"I am Shurry! Even if the method leaks they can't do anything with it, without hiring strong adventurers to carry them to the area, which even my familia can't do without me. So everything will be fine."
Ardee giggled, kissed Shurry, and smiled. "Plus, there's the added benefit that the training makes it seem like it will kill you before anything happens. No one would ever want to try it."
Ganesha handed the book back to Shurry, knowing full well to get it from him was impossible. Ardee and Shurry ran out of the room, and headed right back to the training area.
This training method, it's too good. But, it's still not enough to account for Shurry's growth, And definitely isn't enough to explain that skill Ardee just got. That little fairy Shurry gave her must be hard at work strengthening Ardee's soul… Shurry, I said give her a gift, but I never expected this. Just what are your limits?
…
The training arena turned into a fiasco, the moment Shakti arrived, however, nothing happened, she just walked over, and slumped down on a resting bench. Ilta was to her right, and one of the few executives was now on her left… He was rather flustered with Ilta there, but Shakti damn near sat on his lap, not a good time for that to happen…
Shakti noticed the bulge and stared at it for a moment. Then she turned her gaze to the sky. "Ilta, my little sister is leaving the familia. I won't be able to go with her. She's the last of my relatives… What should I do?"
"If you're asking an Amazoness that question, you should already know what I'm going to say, right?"
"Yeah, I know…"
"Uh… What is this answer exactly?"
"To choose a man, and take him to bed, so nine months later she can pop out her own relatives."
The male executive blushed hard when both pairs of eyes stared at him, then his head, then back to his face.
"Hey, you can't blame me, alright, I've been so pent up since we started this training. I used to get this taken care of, but there's no time for it…"
"Hmm… What do you think Ilta, is he worthy enough?" Shakti asked, still eyeing the man as if she had a bit of Amazoness in her coming out.
