Axel stirred first, his sleep disturbed by the strange sensation of being utterly confined. He tried to wiggle, to shift his weight, but whatever was binding him was unyielding.
It felt less like a hug and more like a gentle but firm manacle. With a slow sigh, he forced his eyes open, and the reason for his bondage became immediately clear. He was utterly encased in Jayvaughn's embrace, his entire body hugged tightly to his boyfriend's chest. No wonder he'd felt like he was caught in a trap; Jayvaughn had clearly decided Axel was not going anywhere.
Axel tilted his head back slightly and looked up at Jayvaughn's face. His boyfriend was completely peaceful in his sleep, his long eyelashes resting softly against his cheeks.
Axel just kept staring, admiring the perfect line of his jaw and the gentle curve of his lips. He loved watching Jayvaughn sleep; it was the only time he looked completely unguarded, completely his own.
