Axel pulled into the parking area of the Syren Group condominium building and guided the car into his usual spot. Without saying anything, he stepped out, locked the door behind him, and headed toward the entrance.
Marlon got out next, still carrying Jaimie comfortably in his arms. He followed after Axel but soon noticed that one passenger was still sitting inside the car. He stopped, turned, and looked directly at Josh.
"Are you going to come down," Marlon asked with a pointed tone, "or do you need me to politely invite you?"
Josh quickly scrambled out, shutting the door behind him. "Because Axel told me not to leave the car earlier, that's why I didn't get down," he explained.
