Axel strolled forward at an unhurried pace, his steps calm and deliberate, as though he was walking into a café rather than towards a group of ten armed men. The leader of the gangsters eyed him with clear surprise, his brows knitting slightly as his mind tried to catch up with what his eyes were seeing. In all his years of running in dangerous circles, he had never met someone who willingly walked into a trap like this. He tilted his head, a spark of curiosity mixed with amusement crossing his face. Was this pretty boy in front of him insane?
"Fine," the leader finally said with a twisted smile. "If you're not planning on leaving, then you can join us. Honestly, you're so easy on the eyes. After we finish with this idiot here, we're going to need to blow off some steam. And you just volunteered yourself."
One of the other men snickered and added, "Leader, we could even sell him. He'd fetch a high price."
