As soon as Axel gave the green light, Lucian subtly signaled the three men he had brought along. Without hesitation, the trio split off, slipping into Eve Corporation's building with a clear and simple mission: plant the listening devices and get out—quiet, clean, and fast.
Before they fully disappeared inside, Lucian reminded them one last time. "Stick to the upper executive floors. One device per room. Get it done and get out."
The men gave small nods before vanishing through the glass doors.
Thanks to Axel's control over the building's internal surveillance—handled remotely from the dinner party bathroom—they had eyes everywhere. All Lucian's team had to do was avoid a few lingering low-level staff members who hadn't clocked out yet. Other than that, it was a walk in the park.
