*Rowan decided to increase his growth by looking into secrets that can be discovered in the Academy, like hidden passages lost in time to professors that are less active in teaching and more active in their research with a minimal number of students necessary for their research. Most professors in the Royal Academy were there for show, some had talent but were more interested in their own research and the ones left out of those categories were the main professors of swordsmanship, magic, alchemy, monster theory and dungeon exploration. Dungeon being exclusive for second and higher class students. Rowan knew the major of the hidden secrets of the academy being "The Beast Taming Club" with it's professor to unlock "Beast Taming Skills", "The Exploration Club" which allowed the player to not having to record their entry and exit from the academy or to say "Free Access to the Outside World with certain restrictions", "Demon Studies" which gave information on the weakness of Higher teir Abnormal Monsters which were also considered Demons in place of Monsters and mainly the secret passageways leading to the Late Hero's Grave with many more things that were also there and he forgot about because of their low important and the long time that has passed. Rowan also had to locate every one of the facilities one by one because unlike the Game where he could just complete hidden questions to get entry to the facilities and it's information, he had to find the facilities in the giant academy and register into the facilities. Also as he had forgot quite a bit of the information from the past life and to look more convincing, he had to actively participate in the studies of the facilities. He was not able to do much training because of how much of his time was being used in all the activities, facilities, studies and everything all together that he showed little growth in front of all while going nearly a year's worth of knowledge ahead of the whole first year studies.
While Rowan was doing such, his father's eye was on him passively because direct actions were restricted inside the academy for nobels to the royals by the laws imposed by the late hero and the late emperor of the empire. His father didn't have enough time to look too deep into Rowan's actions because of being busy fighting against a ongoing Monsters Raid which happened in his Dukedom and could not be let out of there or more monsters will join in on the chaos. While all this Rowan was taking actions for his grand plan to take down the hero*.
So, after the finals are done, prove that I have already completed the whole academy's basic teaches and am allowed to leave for expedition with a group as well as take my trusted group with me. I would be finally able to full up my plan against the hero and get ahead of him following the path he would need to take. Collect everything that I can to weaken him. My plan would really be in action showing the first results. My observation of him tells me, just like in the story the hero is from Earth just like me and is probably also a gamer but he doesn't know this game or would have caught on to the fact the Rowan Theodore Evenfall is not supposed to attend for the fact the he should be head by the storyline and the fact that something is different from the storyline. Seeing the facts, I am sure that the storyline is on track and he hero and the gods who wish to destroy the needs to die by my hands. "The Void God" who I am going to refer as the "Origin God" made ways for he to do the deed and now it's on me to end the story, the correct way.
*Rowan who was bored from all the things happening as his memories and all key points comes to his mind, that he couldn't not just start mumbling to himself. He had also convinced everyone except Cain to join the lecture and studies of the future classes. There was no restrictions on pre learning and skinning classes in the academy if the students are showing above standard in that particular field because the academy followed simple rules of "Survival of the Fittest" and "High End Politics between families". This did give freedom to the talented and quick learners but seemingly was useless in finding real talents. If the outcomes weren't so good the Royal Academy would have never gained the reputation it already had.
Everything was calm till 1 month before the Finals, during which many professors were out preparing for the Final Exam of all students and graduation for Class 4, who were getting deployed for their first military operation under the Emperor's Army which was also the way for the Emperor to hand pick promising individuals before any other family could even get a look. As most of the main professors, the academy and the whole capital was busy preparing, no one had noticed the "Demon God Cult Members" or humans following the Demon God also known as demonic humans had started their retaliation against the Emperor and the Hero, not because they know the truth but because they want to follow who they believe to be stronger and more likely to win. The Cultists had planned it thought deeply this time to do more damage and harm the academy as well as it's students as much as possible. They sneaked in as helping hands, use Chaos Gem Powder to increase the captive creature's strength and aggression, planted explosives and explosive magic near the Stadium and were able to gain access to the Hero's dorm room. They were planing to take action on the day just before the Ceremonial Graduation of the new warriors and the First day of the Practical Final Exams. The written exam was taken 1 month in advance before the main event as the academy's goals was to create useful individuals for the empire leaving out all the major individuals like the Crown Prince and Young Dukes*.
