UK:GSW Chapter 328 – The True Return of Hatake Kakashi from Warhammer 40K

At this moment, it was the time of judgment!

The Emperor's Chosen, Hatake Kakashi, was about to wield his chosen power amidst the raging warp energy of this place, transforming into a psyker madman, slaying father and teacher, and blasting apart the world's very jaws!

Kill kill kill kill kill!

Battle battle battle battle battle!

Boom boom boom boom boom!

Blast blast blast blast blast!

At this moment, the wild Kakashi fought in the wildest manner, unleashing ninjutsu as if on infinite ammo mode, feeling the deep joy of unlimited chakra.

A once-ordinary jutsu now struck with the force of a forbidden technique, instantly raising the battle's intensity to the level of the final fight against Kaguya Otsutsuki in the Shippuden era.

This level of intensity was not only world-destroying, but the Kaguya comparison also referred to the battlefield's setting.

Under the influence of dense warp energy, the world had been distorted, and since the warp was a realm of the mind, thought-images could often create unbelievable miracles.

For example, Kakashi's clash with the two most important elders in his life actually caused this space to twist while merging with their memories. Their inner obsessions, their thoughts, and their raging wills intertwined, ultimately forming a storm that warped reality.

Then, fragments from their memories surfaced, directly eroding this distorted space.

It was once the Hidden Leaf, the shinobi world in Kakashi's memories, the cruel battlefields of the past.

The Hidden Leaf, the forests of the Land of Fire, the deserts of the Land of Wind, the battlefields of the Shinobi World Wars.

Every place Kakashi had once been appeared now, eroding reality, and with each terrifying energy collision, the scenes twisted and shifted, making the battle between Kakashi and the two elders seem as if they were constantly teleporting.

Any demons or Imperial warriors caught within the range of their clashes were destroyed by the boundless power, forming a battle domain that no outsider could step into.

Such an explosive scene was the embodiment of Kakashi's power now—also the power of Minato Namikaze and Sakumo Hatake.

Moreover, under the boost of this terrifying force, the strength of all three continued to grow, as if the warp's corruption was drawing them deeper into it, making the Emperor's and the Chaos Gods' blessings stronger and stronger.

The battle's intensity climbed without end, gradually forming an extremely terrifying superstorm.

Eventually, this superstorm pulled them entirely between reality and illusion, forming a bizarre and twisted realm.

Here, power was magnified yet again, making Kakashi's Lightning Cutter so powerful that it spawned a thunderstorm engulfing heaven and earth, sweeping Minato and Sakumo in its grasp.

However, Sakumo and Minato were not to be outdone—the Rasengan in Minato's hands became like a Saiyan's energy wave, unleashing an explosion of terrifying magnitude, while Sakumo's slash seemed to cut through all creation itself, slicing even space apart, followed by a psychic storm.

Under this horrifying impact, everything was annihilated, burned, sliced, and torn apart.

Worst of all, even if injured, the blessings they carried let them heal instantly, turning the fight into a god-battle between hacked players.

Every will, every dominating belief, every resolve became wind in the realm of thought, manifesting as tangible power, driving both sides to fight on without pause.

However, Minato and Sakumo were not truly under Chaos' control. Though they held nothing back, they lacked the determination to win at all costs, and their blessings were nowhere near as exaggerated as Kakashi's.

Even among hacked players, there were still differences.

Over time, the Emperor's golden divine power gradually overtook the Chaos Gods' might, and Kakashi's strength steadily surpassed Sakumo's and Minato's.

At last, amid endless clashes, Kakashi's katana, burning with the Emperor's fire, sliced through Sakumo's and Minato's bodies in a single strike.

The golden divine flame, empowered beyond the Chaos Gods' corruption, burned upon their bodies, consuming the blasphemy and distortion along with the men themselves.

As the golden fire burned, it was as if their masks were removed—the twisted shell fell away, revealing their appearances before the corruption.

Both now wore expressions once more, smiling in relief.

Then Sakumo spoke: "Well done, Kakashi, my son. You've made me proud once again."

Minato's warm, sunny smile followed: "Just as Sakumo-senpai said, I feel the same. So remember your feelings and resolve right now, Kakashi. Never forget—you carry more than you think."

At their words, Kakashi's eyes widened, and then, unable to hold back, tears fell.

Yet amidst his deep sorrow, his eyes held the same resolve he'd had when Obito Uchiha had just 'died' and entrusted him with the Sharingan.

Tears flowed, but his gaze was steadfast—he would bear this will and resolve, and live and fight without wavering.

Without question, Kakashi had truly regained his original resolve, even stronger than ever before.

At that moment, Uchiha Kei suddenly received two portions of golden spirit, the source being Kakashi himself.

This made Kei raise his brows, then smile.

It meant Kakashi had truly stepped into the Kage level.

Not through the Sharingan, but by his own will, his own obsession, his own spirit.

The chakra system was inherently mental—energy born of will and spirit—so a person's mental attributes greatly affected their strength. Without unyielding will, even a genius could not reach the Kage level, and conversely, with a strong and unwavering spirit, even the untalented could go far.

Kakashi and Jiraiya were prime examples.

Born a genius, Kakashi's talent was undeniable. Even in the Boruto era, without the Sharingan and well past his prime, he still improved steadily, maintaining the level of a mid-tier Kage, thanks to the Fourth Shinobi World War restoring his resolve and breaking his inner shackles.

Conversely, when trapped by the pain of the past, Kakashi had remained stuck at the peak of Elite Jonin, unable to cross into Kage level without the Mangekyo Sharingan, and even then, it was hollow strength.

In truth, with his talent, Kakashi should never have been stuck that long—the real issue was the lack of will, leaving him as nothing more than "the Hidden Leaf's Technician" Kakashi.

Jiraiya, on the other hand, always had unshakable resolve, never giving up. Even while chasing the "Child of Prophecy" around the world and suffering constant losses, his spirit remained indestructible.

This let Jiraiya, despite average talent, keep pace with his two teammates and ultimately become the strongest of the Three Legendary Sannin in the Shippuden era.

Kakashi and Jiraiya were the clearest examples of willpower feeding directly into strength. Otherwise—both being shameless perverts—Jiraiya would have shown signs of weakness too, but never did. This was not just about a Sharingan's side effects.

If Kakashi had Jiraiya's will and refusal to yield, he never would have been instantly defeated by Itachi Uchiha. Even with the Mangekyo Sharingan, Itachi's talent did not surpass Kakashi's according to canon settings, and at that age, Kakashi's strength would not have been less than Minato's.

But reality had no "if." Kakashi never became Jiraiya, nor Minato, and his strength remained as it was.

Now, however, after slaying father and teacher yet holding an unshakable will, Kakashi was poised for a new era of constant growth, just as after the Fourth Shinobi World War.

The sudden golden spirit he gave to Kei proved it. Before now, no matter the stimulus, Kakashi had never generated golden spirit—because by the system's standard, he had not yet met the criteria of a Kage-level being.

Even the crippled Danzo Shimura qualified, able to produce golden spirit, and Kakashi's actual combat ability was far above his.

Willpower truly made a great difference to a shinobi.

In the end, under the Emperor's golden radiance, Kakashi purified his teacher and father, granting them peace.

And Kakashi decided—he would find the shinobi world and cleanse it of corruption, then use his great power to keep fighting for the Imperium and the Emperor, destroying Chaos everywhere.

At that moment, the Emperor's cold sun of existence appeared, enveloping Kakashi entirely.

A will entered his mind.

"My child, you have completed your mission. Now, return! Hold to your resolve, never forget your will, and never let your world become like the Imperium is now…"

This will stunned Kakashi. He spoke in a daze: "Emperor? You…"

But he could say no more, for the Emperor's might engulfed him, and he felt the world spin before he lost consciousness.

He did not know how long had passed when he suddenly awoke. Sitting up, he found himself lying beneath a tree, in surroundings both familiar and strange—like he had been gone a long time, and yet no time had passed.

Looking closely, he was in the Hidden Leaf's training grounds—the very ones from the parallel world he had crossed into.

This left Kakashi in doubt, wondering what had happened, especially as he felt weak, with a strange sensation in his left eye—chakra being endlessly drained.

This feeling stirred unease, for in the other universe, he had been free of it—yet now, it had returned.

"So… I'm back? Back in my original world?"

"Emperor… is this your reward for me?"

Kakashi muttered softly, his heart in turmoil.

At that moment, a man's voice rang out.

"Oh? You're awake? I thought you meant to sleep until dark."

Kakashi turned sharply to see a face both familiar and strange—that of a wolf—and his body trembled involuntarily.

Seeing this, Sakumo Hatake, now the "Lone Wolf," narrowed his eyes. "What's wrong, Kakashi?"

Kakashi pressed his lips together, then smiled, shaking his head with unshakable resolve. "No, nothing, fa… Lone Wolf-san. I just took a short nap."

He stood, asking lightly, "So, our fight continues, right?"

Sakumo studied him for a moment, as if searching for something, then nodded. "If you still have the strength, yes. Today's match isn't over."

Kakashi gave a short reply, walked to the weapon rack Sakumo had brought, took a katana, and turned to face him, radiating powerful presence.

"Let's begin!"

With those words, Kakashi charged first, his offense fierce beyond measure—completely unlike the lazy attitude he'd once shown against the "Lone Wolf."

This Hatake Kakashi was the legendary "Phantom Hokage," a man of unshakable resolve!

Watching through the "Illusion World's" permissions, Minato asked Uchiha Kei: "Kei, is it really okay for us to keep Kakashi believing everything he experienced was a real dimensional journey?"

Kei shrugged. "Unless we tell him, he won't find out easily. Besides, the whole point was to make him firm in resolve—hasn't it worked?

"Kakashi's will is stronger than ever now, and he'll keep walking forward. When he returns to his world, he'll definitely be one of our greatest allies.

"And look—Sakumo-senpai's happy. If his father is willing to hide the truth, why should you, his teacher—especially one from a parallel world—be so conflicted?"
