Wood ×3,100 units

Stone ×2,300 units

D-Rank Tokens ×20

C-Rank Token ×1

Wolf Fang ×84

Liam rechecked his inventory.

"I've got more than enough wood to build a wall around the Territory," he muttered, walking to its edge.

He opened the system interface.

His mind flicked toward the Blueprints tab in the system menu.

A new entry had been added. Blueprint Unlocked: Wooden Wall.

He nodded slightly. It is ready to be used or upgraded later.

Host, do you want to use the Wooden Wall Blueprint?

Yes / No

Liam selected Yes.

The ground shuddered. A thousand units of wood vanished instantly. Seconds later, a wooden wall surged up from the dirt, encircling the Territory. Ten feet tall can withstand C-rank beasts or below with ease.

It wasn't strong enough to replace the Territory Shield, but it would buy them enough time to prepare.

As he was thinking that, a new system message popped up.

Host, please enter a name for the ranking leaderboard. Or choose to remain anonymous.

He entered his real name.

No point hiding.

Soon, the name alone will be known throughout the world.

He would make sure of it.

The leaderboard appeared in front of him.

"Third place," Liam muttered. "But it won't long some beats me. They're gaining points fast."

Liam ordered everyone to rest. They'd need to recover their strength before the next hunt.

They all nodded and went to rest.

With them gone, silence settled over the Territory. Liam sat near the Lord's Mansion, his back against the outer wall.

He sighed, opened Lord Chat again to understand the suggestion.

The feed burst to life.

[Lord Chat]

"Damn, did you see the top 10 in the rankings?"

"All of them are already above 20 points."

"They're farming D-ranks like lunatics."

 "They must have powerful talents."

"I heard Rank 1 can summon undead. Just throws waves of them at enemies without a care."

"I almost lost a subject, killing two boars. Can't imagine fighting wolves."

"Forget Legendary, I'd settle for a Rare class."

"Two wolves circling my Territory. Only have two archers. I'm screwed."

"Try fighting from inside the shield."

"Wait, that works?"

Liam's eyes narrowed. A small grin tugged at the corner of his mouth.

That it. That was the way.

The monster he sensed outside when he was hunting wolves.

It can be lured into range. If he timed it right, he could kill it before the Territory shield times up.

He looked toward the forest.

"A B-rank monster is active near my Territory.

Most would call it bad luck. A threat.

But not Liam.

To him, it was an opportunity.

Soon, hours passed ….

Liam stood and turned toward his troops.

Three groups waited in formation, standing at attention.

Noah led the warriors, bloodstained and battle-hungry men. Their armor clinked with every breath.

Henry commanded the archers, silver heir men, lined up in a perfect square, bows in hand.

And by the side stood Emma and Eva, his scouts. Slim and deadly.

Twenty-two subjects in total.

But it's not enough.

He opened the summoning menu and used 20 D-rank tokens.

To summon 20 well-trained D-rank Archers.

The new troops appeared silently and integrated seamlessly into the archer unit. Henry gave a single nod.

Then Liam turned to Emma. Her expression was cold, waiting.

He held out the glowing C-Rank Token.

"Take it."

Emma stepped forward and knelt without hesitation. "With honor, my Lord."

The token shimmered in her palm. Her body tensed as energy surged through her, and glowing runes spiraled across her frame, twisting like snakes made of light, binding to her skin.

Then, a blinding flash. When the light faded…

 Emma stood transformed.

Her black hair cascaded down her back like ink. Her eyes, cold and pitch-black pupils, gleamed with silent focus, reflecting only the smallest shards of light. She carved in black leather armor like shadows.

She was beautiful.

Liam's lips curled again. The kind of smile that wasn't friendly.

It's time," Liam said, eyes locked on the treeline outside his Territory. "We're taking down that B-rank."
