The so-called junior officer is one of the military rank systems that Austin decided to implement temporarily within the Dragon Nest Legion.
To facilitate management, Austin directly divided the beastman soldiers in the Beastman Legion into three ranks:
Soldier, Sergeant, and Junior Officer.
Among them, soldiers are ordinary beastman soldiers, whether gun shield soldiers, archers, or cavalry, as long as they are still ordinary beastmen, as long as their fighting capability is below that of extraordinary beastmen, they are all ranked as soldiers.
Of course, those who achieve great merit are exceptions. Those who achieve great merit naturally qualify for a rank promotion to become sergeants.
However, if there truly is a beastman soldier who achieves great merit, Austin might also grant the modification to become an extraordinary beastman to the soldier who performed the meritorious deeds, thus qualifying him to become a sergeant.
