Mason Nightshade came out after his shower and saw Aurelia Shaw lying on the bed, hugging her laptop. A drama was playing on the screen, and she was so absorbed that she didn't notice him until he got closer and spotted the massive object taking up almost half the bed in the middle.
His handsome face instantly grew dark; he raised an eyebrow, grabbed the big bear plushy, and casually threw it onto the floor.
Aurelia was startled. She looked up and saw the bear plushy, taller than herself, being effortlessly tossed by Mason, landing pathetically on its head on the floor, and she frowned.
"Pick up the bear," Aurelia said in a low voice.
"It's in the way!" Mason replied with a calm face, glanced at the bear again, finding it an eyesore, and gave it another kick. Seeing the bear fly far away, he finally curved his lips in satisfaction.
