Suddenly,
Carter's phone vibrated in his hand.
He glanced at the screen.
A message from Captain Morgan White.
Carter opened it.
A wedding invitation.
"Atliop City…" he murmured softly. "That brings back memories."
He read further.
Harper and Violet.
A slow smile formed on his face.
"So they're finally getting married," he thought. "After the kind of life they used to live… that's good. Very good."
For a moment, the past lingered in his eyes.
Then he sighed.
"I can't go."
He typed:
I won't be able to attend. But I'll send Ava as my representative.
A thumbs-up emoji appeared almost instantly.
Carter forwarded the location, date, and time to Ava.
Her reply came soon after:
Okay. I also have something to do there.
Carter's eyes paused on the screen for a second.
He didn't ask.
He locked his phone.
Meanwhile,
Ron stepped on the ground of Atliop City.
The city felt clean, big skyscrapers, big roads, Expensive cars on the road even this late, at night.
Ron walked across the streets.
Eclipse, where are you. Come to me. Ron thought.
Suddenly, Ron's phone rang.
Ron looked at the unfamiliar number. Ron thought, then ignored the call and put his phone back into his pocket.
Ron started walking again.
His phone rang again.
Ron ignored it again, but it kept ringing.
Ron sighed, and took out his phone.
It was Brian.
Ron smiled and accepted the call.
"Ron, my bro. How is it going?" Brian said.
"I am good. What about you?" Ron said.
"I am also doing good. Anyway, listen bud. I have sent you a wedding invitation. Make sure you attend. I'll be waiting. Bye, Son." Brian said.
"What the hell man, Listen to me." Ron said.
"Yes. I am listening" Brian said.
"Who's wedding is it. A friend of mine. You also know him. Don't ask, it will be a surprise for you." Brian said.
"Okay. I am in another city but I'll come." Ron said.
"Where are you? If you are far, then don't trouble yourself." Brian said.
"I am in Atliop City." Ron said.
"Bingo! Wedding is also taking place there." Brian said.

The call ended before Ron could say something.
Ron sighed.
Ron looked at his phone and saw a message notification from Brian.

We request your presence in the marriage ceremony of Harper and Violet.
To: Ron and his family.
Location" Moonlight Hall, Atliop City.
Starting Time: 9:30 (Night)
Oh, it's Harper's wedding. Ron thought.
He forwarded this message to Dream and typed
"My friend's wedding. You are also invited."
And pressed send.
Ron closed his phone and started walking in the streets.
He noticed student couples. Gigging together.
Ron smiled, "Youth."
He walked ahead and suddenly, he heard a voice.
"3...2..."
Ron looked here and there.
"Where is this voice coming from?" Ron thought.
"And 1"
Ron suddenly heard the sound, of a rocket incoming from behind.
Ron didn't fully turn.
Metallic hands surrounded him and Ron was tackled and pushed into the air.
Almost colliding with a building.
Ron teleported away and saw what tackled him.
Ron's eyes widened
"These Robots? These are the ones which were sent to Finian's place in the present."
Ron flew away , trying to get out of the city.
The Robots followed him.
Then, one robot stopped.
He moved his arm towards the city below.
His arm turned into a large cannon.
A strange sphere materialized and was thrown at the city.
"Nooo." Ron yelled.
Ron teleported in the way and kicked the sphere into the space.
The sky lit up. Many plants were destroyed.
A strong winds went across the globe.
"These are more destructive then the one's we fought." Ron said.
A layer of purple armor had surrounded Ron's leg.
The next second, Ron teleported behind the robot and cut him with his right hand.
As soon as the robot split, it exploded.
A large cloud of dust was visible in the sky.
The dust vanished.
Ron's entire body was covered in purple armor.
Only his hand, by which he cut the robot, was bloodied. The purple layer of armor extended and surrounded even that hand.
Ron smiled.
A purple and black layer of Black Sorcery surrounded his body
Suddenly, many knights materialized.
The robots fired the strange sphere.
The knights forwarded their shields and the attack was absorbed.
Then, the knights rushed and with a single kick they threw the robots far from the city.
Into a forest.
Ron sighed and stepped on the ground far away from the crowd, which was starting to gather.
"Today's a strange day isn't it, Liora?." Ava said.
"Yeah. Many things happened today. Like the sky lit up and then a dust cloud.' Liora said.
