In the Afternoon
Ava stood in front of the café.
She looked at the sign board.
James's Café.
Ava looked at her phone, a message from Liora.
"I am already seated."
Ava closed her phone and enter into the café.
She spotted Liora, she was seated at corner. Ava walked towards the table. And sat in front of Liora after greeting's and hugging. Like two friends reunite.
"Dr. Ava." Liora said with a smile.
"Hahaha. You haven't changed at all." Ava said.
The food came. Both friends eat the food quietly. After eating,
Liora smiled and said, "So, Doctor How can I help you."
"I want you to gather some information for me." Ava said.
"About who?" Liora said.
"About someone called DA." Ava said.
"DA?" Liora said, they name felt familiar to her.
"What? Do you know him?" Ava asked.
"I have heard that name somewhere." Liora said.
"Where?" Ava said.
"Let me think." Liora said.
Ava nodded.
Liora thought for a moment. then, she finally remembered.
"I heard that name from my brother a while ago." Liora said.
"Brother? What did he say?" Ava said.
"My big brother, Locki was on phone with Ron, and Ron asked him about this DA. Locki stood up and walked towards his room. After a while, I heard brother Locki say something to Ron." Liora said.
"What did he say?" Ava asked.
"He said that he couldn't find any information about DA." Liora replied.
Ava's eyes widened, "What should I do?" She murmured.
"Well, is something wrong?" Liora asked.
"Yeah," Ava said looking Liora straight into her eyes. "He knows about Aex." Ava said.
Liora's eyes widened.
"What else does he know?" Liora said.
"I don't know. But it looked like he knew more than he let on." Ava said.
"If he knows about us, then, it might cause us trouble." Liora said.
"What should we do?" Ava said.
"Ava." Liora said, Ava looked at her.
"Why don't you ask help from your brother, Carter." Liora said.
"Well, he's injured. And I don't want to trouble him about 'that'." Ava said.
"Why don't you ask Locki or Finian." Ava said.
"Locki, I haven't seen him for almost an year and Finian he's busy." Liora said.
"Busy with what? Is there something more important than his sister." Ava asked.
"Yes, there is." Liora said.
"What?" Ava said.
"His wife." Liora said.
"Oh." Ava said. "What should we do now." Ava said.
"There's someone else. I can ask them for you." Liora said.
"Who?" Ava asked.
"Code Name Rex." Liora said.
Ava's eyes widened.
"Rex? World's number one..... back in the days." Ava said.
"Yes. Him" Liora said.
"Do you know him personally or something?" Ava asked.
"I know him." Liora said. "He's close with my brothers. He once stayed with us." Liora says.
"Does he know about DA?" Ava asked.
"I don't know but I think he knows more than us." Liora said.
"Okay, then let me know." Ava said, while standing up.
"I'll take care of the bill." Ava said.
"I already paid it." Liora said.
Ava pouted. "Next time, I'll pay."
"Okay Okay." Liora said.
Ava left the cafe.
Liora also stood up and walked outside. She sat in her car and went towards her salon.
Liora took out her phone dialed 'him'.
After a while, the call ended. And Liora had reached her salon.
Liora entered and saw someone standing on the doorway.
It was man. The man turned, Liora face fell.
"Lioraaa. Help meee." Finian said, running towards her.
Liora slammed her purse into his face and slammed him on the ground.
"Aaaaaaaagh." Finian let out a scream.
"What are you doing here? Men are not allowed." Liora said and stepped her one foot's heel on his hand.
"I came to ask for help." Finian said.
"What help?" Liora said.
"Can you let go off my arm, it will break." Finian said.
Liora let him go. Finian stood up. "I am your big brother. You should respect me." Finian said.
"Locki is the oldest." Liora said.
"Yes, he is older than me but I am older than you. So yo-" Finian didn't finish because he felt killing intent from Liora.
"Why you came here?" Liora said.
"Yes, I want to ask you how to impress a woman." Finian said.
Liora smacked her forehead.
"You want to impress your wife?" Liora said.
Finian nodded.
How would I know?" Liora said.
"You are a woman, you should know what woman likes." Finian said.
"What happened?" Liora said.
"She wants to see what I do?" Finian said.
Liora paused.
"Show her what you do. You are a black smith." Liora said.
"Ok, I'll show her. Thanks Liora." Finian said and ran away jumping.
What a bother. Liora thought.
