Dinner was at Wang Shuxia's house.
Wang Shuxia specifically called Liu Yating and invited her over for dinner.
They had hotpot in the evening. Yang Yunhai brought over a hotpot stove from his workplace cafeteria and went out to get half a lamb leg in the afternoon. Gu Lingling simmered it, and by dinner time, the rich white broth looked very tempting.
Since it was already early winter, fresh vegetables weren't particularly plentiful, but the hotpot base Gu Lingling made was so delicious that even plain cabbage, radishes, and sweet potatoes tasted great.
Even Liu Jianping called the meal satisfying.
After dinner, the couple strolled back slowly from the Liu Family, with Gu Lingling being led by Yang Yunhai's hand the entire way.
They encountered some young warriors who saw them holding hands and blushed as they greeted Yang Yunhai.
"All because of you." Gu Lingling blushed and glared at Yang Yunhai.
Though she told him not to hold hands, he insisted.
