Lawrence Winters retorted sharply, "Miss Ruby Sheldon, what's the point of talking about 'daddy' all day long? Sure, everyone knows you have the Wealthiest as your father, but you don't need to repeat it endlessly."
She shrugged, "I don't have a father, but I've never felt there's anything missing. You have a father, yet you mention him all the time. Hmm, interesting. You know, people emphasize what they lack..."
Ruby Sheldon stared blankly at Lawrence Winters. After a moment, she understood the underlying meaning and said angrily, "Are you saying I lack a father?! Obviously, the one who lacks a father is you! How can you twist the facts and turn the tables on me?"
"It goes both ways." Lawrence Winters didn't want to keep tangling with Ruby, this dull person. She gave a slight bow, "I'm hungry, going to grab a bite. You three chat leisurely."
She vacated the spot and walked towards the long table with the steamed lobster.
