The first ray of dawn had just pierced through the atmosphere of Green Ring No.2 when Ron left the dormitory.
There were still two hours before the open class, but instead of heading directly to the Dome of Reflection, he took a secluded path skirting the outskirts of the Tree of Life.
This path was seldom traveled, and along its sides grew a special plant known as "Silent Moss."
When someone approached, these mosses would automatically emit a slight soundproofing effect, providing the travelers a space of their own tranquility.
"Since someone wants to play a game with me..."
Ron stopped under an ancient silverleaf tree.
Slowly, from the depths of his storage bag, he retrieved the mysterious dice wrapped in layers of protective talismans.
The Paradox Dice shimmered with dizzying colors in the morning light.
Each of its faces was engraved with different numbers.
