With her long hair tied into a ponytail, Jiayu wore an outfit Mu Ke prepared for her: a white turtleneck sweater paired with a black woolen skirt. It was a simple and elegant ensemble, and Jiayu really liked it. Although the sweater had a turtleneck, it was a loose-fitting design with sleeves resembling slightly puffed sleeves, giving her a more youthful appearance.
If she carried a backpack, no one would think it out of place for Jiayu to pose as a new university student.
As she opened the door and stepped out, she immediately smelled a faint aroma of eggs. Mu Ke was standing on the balcony talking on the phone, and Jiayu didn't disturb him, instead, she sat down quietly at the dining table.
She took a sip of milk and bit into the soft bread, both still warm, comforting her stomach.
Jiayu instinctively looked towards the person on the balcony. Mu Ke was standing sideways, sunlight pouring over him, his cotton loungewear exuding a sense of comfort and ease.
