Liam woke up besides a wall. Liam saw a blur, but he knew that it was a live human in front of him. The blurring went away, and he saw somebody, she was a nurse for sure. She was a white girl with blue eyes, a white hospital hat with the pink aid logo. She had a tight gown that went
to her knees and she also had white lipstick. She had long white hair and Liam noticed she also had white short heels. The nurse realized he was awake and smiled and stopped crouching. Liam then slowly got up struggling to rise to her feet. Then as Liam finally managed to fully get up the nurse lady then stuck a huge sharp tongue at him. Liam dodged it being inches close to him. The tongue was pink with white swirls. "WHAT THE HELL?" Liam yelled. It felt weird that Liam didn't spoke until when he was attacked by that crazy girl.
He then ran. He was in a completely grey place with even the beds on the sides being grey. There were orange aid signs everywhere even on the floor. The nurse then jumped up in the air and phased through the ceiling. Liam looked up and scratched his head, then he had the sudden urge to duck, he ducked down, and the nurse went flying through the air. Her sharp nails got stuck on the walls.
Liam then noticed that the grey and orange aid logos on the wall was getting on her skin, and she screamed in pain. Liam ignored it and ran. Liam then got into a place that had four corners. Liam looked around wondering which one to pick. Liam heard screaming coming from where he came that sounded demonic as shit. "Shit" Liam said before blasting off west praying that he went the right way.
Then he started to see light. The place started to become dark. Liam closed his eyes as he entered into the light and disappeared.
Liam woke up on a grass field. "Liam, you, okay?" Liam looked up to see Ivan, Melvin and a random girl. The girl had pink hair that was put into a ponytail, and it had spooky decorations. "Huh, where am I?" Liam said half dead. "You fell from the sky." Melvin said. "The fuck happened bro?" He said confused. "Alright I am here cause you're probably wondering what just happened. But don't worry I have an answer" The girl said. "Basically, an accident happened because the beta place was pretty unstable you basically went to another reality. In there they mix up fiction, history, basically everything. But you're so lucky, if you didn't have a strong mind then the place would've fall in on you and you would be part of it." The girl said. "Wait how the hell do you know this?" Melvin said holding his glasses backing up.
"It's a secret. I work for this place so I can't tell. Anyways bye!" The girl then vanished. Liam got up trying to process what he just saw. "Don't worry bro, the right definition is called having a maniac episode. But turns out you went to a reality where they are physical and everywhere." Ivan said. Liam was already over it. "I don't got time to waste with this bullshit of miracle boy falling from the sky." Melvin said.
"Anyways for this we are traveling through a very dangerous maze with death traps. And you luckily managed to skip a round." Ivan said.
"Anyways get up. Or you might die."
Liam sighed and got up and looked around. There was a massive grey gym ceiling positioned high above them and the ground was grass with there being stone walls. There was food and water on tables and there was a school door leading to the next area. But it had a 5-minute timer floating above it that was counting down. Only Liam, Melvin and Ivan was there. Liam saw Ivan and Melvin chatting and walked towards them. "Oh, Liam you recovered quick. Anyways, these snacks are so fucking good. You should try one" Ivan said.
"You ate snacks and rats' skin for dinner so for me, somebody who actually ate like a normal fucking person knows that this isn't even that good." Liam said looking at the food. It was brownies and cookies, on a table that had a fancy red cloth on it and even a mini golden fountain that rained pink petals and inside the water was white silk cloth that was not wet. Liam picked up a brownie and ate it, it didn't even taste good. Tasted like the ones he always ate.
"Bro this isn't even that good the hell are you guys on?" Liam said looking at Ivan. "Yeah bro go sit back in the corner your taste buds are still fucked up." Melvin said. "I hope for you a fast and speedy recovery. I'm going to probably hope that a random bag falls from the floor so I can put the snacks in the bag for later. Trust me they are heaven." Liam said.
"Ya guys do you, I guess." Liam said sighing, he looked at the timer and there was 20 seconds left. "The round is starting soon, see you guys." Liam said before walking away to the door.
Liam looked at the timer and looked around. He sighed as the door opened, and the timer went off. Liam, Ivan and Melvin looked at the door. "5 minutes went pretty fast to be honest. Anyways, Liam I have the feeling because that place probably fucked up your brain you're going to get fucked up in the maze. So, I'll follow you and make sure that you survive, okay?" Melvin said. Liam looked up at him "Alright. Also, what happened to your party hat?" Liam asked.
"A monster snatched it off trying to rip my head off. Anyways follow me." Melvin said before running into the door. Liam ran with him and when they walked through the door at the same time they teleported to a random part of the maze. They looked around. "So, what do we even do? We could've possibly spawned where the most or the most dangerous monsters or traps is at." Liam said. "No shit, that's why we got to get to running right now." Melvin said then running in a random direction. Liam followed him.
"Do you even know where we are going?" Liam asked while running with him. "Of course, not but look." Melvin said stopping, there was a map of the maze where it showed where they were at. "There are 50 sections so there is a 1/50 chance that we make it. So, a 2% chance we make it. But because I have for eyes that an extra 40 so now its 42%. And there is a 21% chance to be black, so it is now a 63%. But according to a study people with glasses have 37.2% better luck. So now its 100.2%." Melvin said crossing his arms smirking.
"That didn't make any fucking sense in the slightest." Liam said. "What the fuck are you even talking about bro? A bit high today I see." Liam said sighing. "Your black ass doesn't understand because you're too black 4 school." Melvin said. "I'm sorry Melvin. You look Japanese but yet you're named Melvin." Liam said. "I am, I'm Japanese raised in America." Melvin said. "Damn bro your parents must've hated you." Liam said. "Shut up. The blackness of your skin shows your sin. And you either got burnt or sinned to a crips." Melvin said.
Liam sighed. He remembers the last time he argued with somebody like him. He thought. He was a creative roaster but what was worse was that he had creative racist roast. He knew this because it was the same words from another guy who cooked the shit out of him, so he knew he couldn't win. "Whatever just bring me to the damn exit in one piece." Liam said. "That's what I thought. Now follow me." Melvin said walking away. Liam followed.
"I apologize for the racist things, but it was the only insult I could think of that I mentally calculated wouldn't mess up your already fucked up mind. And that would've turned you into a crackhead and 9/10 you'd viciously beat my ass." Melvin said looking at Liam. "That was the tamest racist insult I've heard. And plus, I knew you got some of those lines from boondocks." Liam said. "I did, anyways let's get a move on we might die." Melvin said sprinting away, Liam sprinted too, and he managed to keep up.
As they were running the floor started to rumble and then they realized they stepped in a trap. The floor turned into a big treadmill with boxes and other things flying down. Below them was a pit of spikes that would impale them if they fell down. "Well, Mr.Smartass, why are we in a death situation if you knew what you were doing." Liam said. "No pain no gain" Melvin said.
"Your brain may be kind of fucked up but I'm sure you can still walk though." Melvin said. There was multiple crates and boxes hurled Liams way. Liam struggled to keep up often getting hit by them and being inches close to being impaled while Melvin pulled out his tea set with cheese and crackers with his wine he drank. He flawlessly passed through them. The tea set was connected to his waist tightly, but it was still impressive how the tea on it didn't fall.
"You doing well bitch boy?" Melvin teased. "W-Where did you even get that tea set from?" Liam said huffing through breaths. "Don't worry we only got 13 seconds." Melvin said.
"Wait what?" Liam said.
"12" Melvin said.
"Why are you counting down?" Liam screamed.

"What are you going to do?" Liam said.

Melvin started to count down faster. And Liam just stayed quiet and prayed he wouldn't die.

Then the treadmill started to malfunction, and cogs and screws came out which Liam had to dodge with the boxes that was coming in rapidly. Then massive boxes fell down the treadmill. There was nowhere to run, while Liam was scared and terrified Melvin was calm. Then an elephant fell on the edge of the treadmill flinging him and Melvin.
Liam screamed his ass off while Melvin just drank his tea midair. "Can you shut up, my tea can't taste good without silence." Melvin said.
"WE'RE FLYING TO OUR FUCKING DEATH" Liam yelled. Melvin sighed as they fell to the ground, Liam closed his eyes and then Liam had a concussion on the ground. He felt like he was underwater, and his eyes looked very fucked up too. "You suck at landings" A voice said. "Who is that?" Liam asked weakly.
"It's me, Melvin." Then Liam's head got pushed back and forth and after a few seconds it surprisingly let all the effects go away. "Also, we're at the finish line." Melvin said. Liam looked up to see the finish line. "Oh." Liam said getting up and walking to the finish line. Liam and Ivan both walk to the finish line. When they passed through, they heard clapping. Then as they passed, they saw a dark green hole slide. There was no other place to go.
"Go for me Liam." Melvin said before smacking Liam down face first down the hole. Liam fell and the hole was very dry and hot but yet he still managed to not get stuck. Then he fell down into the sky in a dark room. He free fell into a very dark pool. When he fell instead of him feeling any pain it didn't even hurt at all. Liam felt a bit confused as he resurfaced to the water.
Then the area got lit and he saw a girl standing above him with white hair and a black dress that went all the way to her knees. She had white shoes too and a black umbrella covering her head with her holding the pink crook handle. She stared at him emotionlessly.
Then she smiled. "Looks like you made it to the finish line very early. Actually, it is a world record! So, we will be teleporting you back home. The steps may take a while so good luck! And don't die or mentally lose your mind Liam!" The girl said. Then Liam felt a tug, the water was pulling him down into a grinder, but he just phased right through it. Then the water currents pulled him around spinning him through the tunnels and slides he fell through. Liam was in popped out of a slide into a very dark ocean where he saw paper butterflies float around.
Then Liam realized he could breathe in this water, Liam floated around until the place started to shake and stir around like he was in a washing machine, then he got pushed into a hole which led to his room in this society. He fell on his bed soaking wet, Liam got up wondering what the fuck just happened.
As Liam was wondering what just happened to him a monitor fell down from the sky in front of him making a huge hole in his roof. Then a rope fell down. Liam got up and picked up the tablet. It had room customization settings in it, but it didn't even work the screen was frozen. Liam sighed and used his left hand to grab the rope but then his hand got impaled with thorns and then the rope covered his whole body with the tablet then he fell down on a wood surface.
"Wow you fell for it! Shouldn't you know it is dangerous to grab ropes here" A cowgirl voice said. Liam looked to see a girl. She had pink hair and a basic cowgirl outfit with red boots.
"Who the fuck are you?" Liam asked. "I'm Kip, I'm your tokit. We are basically supposed to show you how everything works, and we like to play some tricks." She said laughing. "Anyways the monitor can customize your room and furniture. And you have a starter credit score of…" Kip looks closely and then a look of shock came to her face. "You got 3 million dollars! I've never seen anything like it. And with those ten thousand dollars! You can go and buy things from the market!" Kip said with her face gleaming from joy.
"In fact, you should go there now!" Kip said. Then she turned into goo and went to Liam, she spoke to him. "For now, I'll be inside you to guide you. I'll navigate the directions to you. And you can communicate with your mind instead of actually talking, this makes you not look schizophrenic. Also, we added this feature where once it is in you can use the tablet to switch furniture in a matter of seconds!" Kip said.
Liam then walked to the closet and pulled out his card to see if he could open the locker. Then the volts from the tv slammed him to the ground. "Yeah, you can't do anything but do what I say which is going to the market. This is a not skippable tutorial, so you better get those legs pumping little cupcake." Kip said laughing.
"Dear Lord bro let me rest." Liam said sighing and walking out of the door.
Liam walked out the door and into the hallway, first thing he noticed is that there was a broken railing gate and there was a slide under. "Oh, there was an incident, you can go down the slide its safe, but it is one hell of a ride." Kip said. Liam jumped on the slide and flew to the ground. The slide went straight down so Liam started to detach from the slide, there was many layers of floors that looked like an animation cause Liam was going down so fast.
Then as Liam was freefalling, he fell into a ball pit that somehow broke his fall. Liam felt that the ball pit was flooded, he got out of the ball pit to see he was in some sort of office. But there was nothing in it and there was only floor that was completely purple. Liam saw in front of him was double doors that lead to a city, Liam walked to it and opened the door and looked around. It was an empty infinite seeming city that stretched out everywhere.
"Anyways, you'll need a map to explore the city. It's about 200 kilometers." Kip said. Then a map popped out in front of Liam, it was an old-fashioned map that looked like it was from the pirate ages, but it marked where Liam was and followed with Liam. There Liam saw everything the city had to offer.
"If you press on the market, then it will give you a path to it, pretty neat huh" Kip said.
Liam nodded then pressed the market, it gave him a path. Liam walked into the direction while walking, him and Kip chatted about the society, he learned many things. About the currency and how many people are here which is 1 billion. And only one will be standing out alive, it is estimated it will take 5 years.
"How many people are left at this moment?" Liam asked. "901 million, an incident happened. But don't worry ya are in beta; this is a test run for the future. So, there will be many more deaths than expected." Kip said.
"And what is the point of all of this?" Liam said. "We wanted to make a 1 billion contestants fight to the death to become famous." Kip said. "What the hell?" Liam said. "I forgot, you're from the past and I am from the future of 3048. Where we evolve to a superior species." Kip said.
"I'd be 100 or something." Liam said. "When was you born?" Kip asked.
"1995." Liam said.
"You'd be dead. It is centuries from this time. And I wonder how you even survive; it takes ya 2 hours to move from one city to another." Kip said.
Liam sighed. Anyways we're at the market what now?
