Liam saw kip a few seconds later and complained. She calmly said that the points currency is way higher than USD, and she promised him 5 billion in USD. Liam sighed knowing he couldn't do anything and walked out. "Oh, wait but I'll let you have 5 days off with 5 of your choosing.
"Ok. But I don't want to waste it yet, I'll do today's game and decide if I will use it." Liam said. "Alright" Kip said. Then Liam left and went to the gaming hall and met up with his friends Ivan and Melvin. They talked about a weird dream they had about the society being destroyed and them not leaving. Liam decided to keep his mouth shut half scared he might get silenced.
They chatted for a little bit until the doors opened, and they went inside. They went through the walls, conveyer belt, then fell into the game. The games were pretty easy for him. Freeze tag, king of the hill, red light greenlights, and shadow boxing. Which he almost died on because he had no idea what it was. Then there was the final game. Liam fell down until he was in a room with 5 other people. He remembered one of them from that poker game, but he forgot his name. It wouldn't matter until they survived. "I found a note. It seems like the rules." Liam said.
"The goal of this game is within the time you must get pass the other door. Failing to do so will get you killed in different ways. There are 22 rooms with 66 seconds on the clock." "Alright sounds easy enough" somebody said. They had blonde spikey hair. They were wearing a school gym uniform with their nametag on their shirt that said. "Josh"
Liam also saw the nerd who was passing the cards with the other guy, he seemed pretty calm and looked like he knew what he was doing. But this time the Nerd was wearing bright yellow glasses.
"Hey." The nerd was looking at Liam. "Apologies from the card incident. I just get pissed when somebody makes fun of Bandis name. We have a long history; my name is Felix. Liam and Felix both shook hands. Then an alarm started to bleep because somebody walked through the door causing the games to start. "WHAT THE HELL ASSHOLE YOU CAUGHT US ALL OFF GUARD" Felix said. Liam and Felix ran to the other room. They looked around and it seemed to be the room of a hospital patient. But everything was rusty and bloody. The door had a keypad on it. "FUCK IT IM GONNA GUESS!" Bandi screamed and ran to the keypad and started putting in random numbers. After the 5th one wrong he got crushed by a stone and Felix was devastated, but he hid his tears and pretended that it was a minor inconvenience.
"Wait, there are a certain number of blood streaks on each item from the front to the back. Let's try front to back." They checked the numbers. 4, 5, 6, 2, 1. It was correct, and the alarms went off. "Felix sat down slowly crying. "Felix you good?" Liam asked. Felix was silent. "We were friends for many years. Even supporting me through my transition." Felix said crying. He held onto himself closer. "You're Trans? I heard about that." Liam said. "Yeah I am." Felix said silently. "Well, it's okay! Let's get back up. We still need to survive more of these rooms!" Liam said.
Felix got up still having his head down. "Alright team. 1 person died and we already have 21 more rooms to go. So, we need a plan. So, the easy plan is that we are going to separate into 4 corners and search them and find clues. Got it? Alright 3 2 1 GO!" Josh said before running into the
Next door starting the new room. Each room was a different thing. A living room, a dining room, a jail. Therapy room. All of them was pretty easy to do. Except the backyard one. An animatronic dog that came from a doghouse came and ate 2 people. Luckily, they were two randoms Liam didn't know about. But besides that, it was pretty easy. Liam was stressing they were all going to die but the clues were obvious. After they finished it, they went back into the game room.
Liam was tired but he decided who he would pick, Felix, Josh, Ivan, and Melvin. After the arrangements the people he had chosen were told and then they hanged out at Liams place. They were talking about how wild their game was. But one big thing was that it was mostly childhood games they played as a kid. Could that be a theme in the games?
On the first day of their break, they found out they could play video games. Ones that they didn't even know existed, on the second day they decided to search up childhood games to prepare, on the third day they just practiced for the games, and for the rest of the days they basically did the same thing. Now it is 9:00pm of the last day until they had to participate again.
"I never knew it was possible to be a pro at every game so fast. This will be too easy." Liam said. "I guess. But hopefully the games we studied will actually be on there." Felix said. He is typing on a computer but no idea what he is doing.
"Wait, oh shit look!" Felix said. "I hacked into this society database on accident." Felix said staring at shock. "How?" Melvin said who was beating Ivan at chess multiple times. "I pressed random key combos and found this." Felix said. "This is probably not even the real deal, this place which trapped 1 billion people, make us play deadly games and repeat can easily have their database stolen?" Melvin said.
Liam remembered when they gave some guy overpowered abilities and destroyed the entire place where they had to reset and make everybody forget it. Except him. Then it dawned onto Liam, this society is bullshit. Their database is easily accessible. Their beta game snapped him to a different reality, and Melvin never used his powers. Wait that could mean that they took it away!
Liam slammed a wall, and it showed a secret entrance, and at the end there was a door that said, "Kips room" "What the hell Liam?" Melvin said. "Wow isn't that your pet thing. Honestly cannot remember what they're called." Ivan said. Ivan and Liam walked in to check it out, the door was locked but they found the key under an invisible mattress that you could see if you squinted. Inside was a cozy room with computers, toys, and one big bed in the middle. "Wow all of this hidden in my room" Liam said. Then they found a phone and they unlocked it because it had no password.
They found out an app that could detect everybody's superpowers they tried it on Felix, who had the ability to find a way out of every situation. Then before anyone can do anything everybody passed out.
