A few days later…
After he had gotten rid of the Red Vipers, Sylus decided to take the mansion that once belonged to Count Eric and make it his own.
At first, he threw Eric's wife in jail for directly supporting her husband in his bad leadership, and then he began throwing out the unwanted stuff in the mansion, which included their clothes and personal belongings.
With that done, Sylus renovated the entire place—although Alfred did most of the work.
In fact, Alfred had taken his place as the headmaster among the workers, and many of them had already begun to respect him. That alone made Sylus reconsider Alfred's position in the new territory.
That said, Sylus knew if he was going to improve the city in any way, he needed to get rid of the bad eggs, and so, he called forth the nobles under Linye City.
Inside the room, Sylus stood at the very front, on a red chair with golden arms and a soft, foamy surface for him to sit on.
