Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Teacher Kakashi, You Don’t Really Want To…

"Did you talk?"

"Yes. Comrade Nine-Tails deeply realized the importance and urgency of the work. From now on, he will fulfill his duties seriously, strengthen cooperation, and form a synergy..."

"Stop. Speak human language."

"Sorry, I used to write speeches for the leaders. It's muscle memory now... Anyway, I fooled him, but getting his chakra will take some time."

"So, are we going through the usual process today?"

"No rush. Just messing with him for now."

In Konoha Village, at the training ground.

Sakura and Naruto were chatting enthusiastically, completely ignoring Sasuke who was standing alone in the breeze. Sasuke's gaze toward the two became increasingly strange.

"Are you so playful?" Sakura frowned slightly at Naruto.

"In my previous life, I didn't even kill an ant. To survive in the harsh world of Naruto, I need to seize every chance to train."

"No need to rush leveling up. Kakashi is an important NPC; if you don't follow the script, things tend to go wrong."

"...Actually, I've been wanting to ask — do you often like to soul-travel?"

"What?"

"You talk in a bunch of game terms."

"...Guilty as charged."

Sasuke nearby was getting more and more confused.

Soul-travel? Game terms? NPC?

What does all that even mean?

But his pride kept him from asking, so he just turned his head and kept calculating when Kakashi would show up.

Soon, with a sound and some white smoke, Kakashi arrived fashionably late.

"Yo, good morning everyone," Kakashi greeted lazily.

He expected the three to be angry, demanding why he was so late.

But Naruto stepped forward and said, "As expected of the boss. On day one, you gave us a vivid lesson."

Sakura asked, "What lesson?"

"Slacking off! The boss calmly played the Jonin role without moving a muscle for half the time, that's something to learn from."

Saying this, Naruto winked at Kakashi, which made Kakashi a bit unsettled.

"Ahem, on the way here I met an old lady…"

"Yeah, yeah, that's the reason!" Naruto grinned: "Next time tell me which street, I'll help her too."

Kakashi was speechless.

He scratched his eyebrow helplessly and started explaining the rules to the three.

"In short, if you don't have the resolve to kill me, you won't get the bells."

After saying this, Kakashi scanned the three.

Sasuke looked tense, appearing most serious.

Naruto and Sakura pretended, but their eyes showed no fear.

Especially Naruto — you could clearly see the excitement in his eyes.

"A fun guy," Kakashi thought. "Let me see what you're capable of."

"Then, the exercise, begins!"

As soon as he said that, Sakura and Sasuke retreated, but Naruto charged straight at Kakashi like thunder!

He pulled out a kunai from his ninja pouch and stabbed toward Kakashi's throat. Kakashi narrowed his eyes and quickly caught Naruto's wrist, following up by grabbing it tightly.

Naruto wasn't angry, instead twisted his body sideways and kicked at Kakashi's waist, but Kakashi caught it with his elbow.

Naruto then glanced at Sakura and gave her a look. She understood and focused her chakra into her fist, smashing it hard on the ground.

"Boom!"

A muffled sound came from the ground, then a dense rain of kunai shot out from the nearby woods, aimed sharply at Kakashi.

The entire process took less than five seconds.

The kunai pierced countless holes in Kakashi's wooden substitute and Naruto's shadow clone.

Naruto's real body then slowly emerged behind Sakura.

He praised Kakashi with a look: "As expected of the boss."

From the beginning, Naruto's real body was hiding in the forest. He split two shadow clones: one as bait, another rushing early to Sakura's place to cooperate with the plan.

This was Naruto's battle plan he improvised last night.

He didn't expect immediate success but wanted to adapt quickly to the ninja combat rhythm.

Judging from feedback, he clearly felt his own lack of combat skills — close-range fighting moves were mostly instinctive and uncoordinated.

Kakashi slightly nodded: "Good attempt, looks like you took my advice."

Then he rummaged through his ninja pouch and openly pulled out "Makeout Paradise".

Here it comes.

Naruto smiled in his heart.

The biggest difference between him and the original Naruto was that he knew the plot and had social experience, so he wouldn't be easily angered by Kakashi's tricks.

However, "Makeout Paradise" could be Kakashi's weakness.

"Boss, you wouldn't be reading the recent hot Makeout Paradise series, right?"

Naruto strode forward.

"Huh?" Kakashi raised an eyebrow, "Minors shouldn't be reading this kind of book."

"I haven't read it," Naruto shrugged, "but a few days ago I met the author — long-haired, like a sage — and even chatted about the later plot."

Naruto grinned cheekily: "Teacher Kakashi, you don't want me spoiling the ending, do you?"

Kakashi's deadpan eyes finally lost their calm: "Wait, how did you just happen to meet the author…"

"If I tell you the ending of Makeout Paradise…"

"Wait!" Kakashi suddenly panicked and covered his ears.

Sakura hiding in the bushes giggled, immediately understanding Naruto's idea.

Sasuke, seeing this, felt a chill down his spine.

"Good chance!"

He quickly pulled out a handful of shuriken and threw them sharply at Kakashi!

At the same time, Sakura quietly circled behind Kakashi, waiting for an opening.

The three had unknowingly coordinated an attack.

"Whoosh! Whoosh!" The shuriken flew accurately toward Kakashi, but he seemed to have eyes in the back of his head and ducked down, dodging the attack. The shuriken passed him and headed toward Naruto.

"Haha, you didn't even tell me!" Naruto glanced at Sasuke's direction and quickly dodged, narrowly escaping the shuriken. At this moment, Sakura approached Kakashi and reached straight for the bells on his waist!

Kakashi, still covering his ears, chuckled lightly:

"One of the ninja tactics: Taijutsu (physical combat)."

Naruto felt his scalp go numb and shouted instinctively, "Sakura, get away!"

At the same time, his mind was racing.

This guy is definitely doing it on purpose!

First, deliberately showing a flaw, waiting for Sasuke and Sakura to attack, then immediately pinpointing their positions and counterattacking.

In just a few seconds, he neutralized their offense and took control of the fight.

After this back and forth, Naruto truly acknowledged Kakashi's reputation.

Even with memories from his previous life, with his current abilities, he was no match for Kakashi.

But Naruto didn't want to force cooperation with the Nine-Tails just yet, nor did he want to fight Kakashi to the death.

Maybe, try a different approach.
