One minute, I saw Dylan's frozen smile when his eyes caught the flowers, and the next second, it was gone, and seemed like I had imagined it.
He placed the flowers on his bedside table beside the other flower which strangely was similar to the ones he brought. Both were fresh flowers, contained the same kinds of flowers, and were arranged similarly which was strange. Maybe Dylan was playing a fast one on me.
"I see you got flowers already. Sorry, I'm late." He said with a playful shrug, and I smiled. Although he tried to sound casual, I easily saw through him, and knew that he didn't send it, and he didn't like that someone else did.
