Mina stared at him. She was biting her lips, seeming to be pondering whether to tell him what he wants to know, or not.
"To be honest, I don't truly know what kind of a man you are, Lincoln, or why my sister even fell in love with you. I knew Darkwood better. But you…. She seemed to have also loved your brother and forgotten about you."
Lincoln balled his fists. "Why are you doing this? Things happen, so what? My brother got her in the end, but so what? I am still the one she had a child with. My daughter–"
"Your daughter who doesn't even know you're her biological father? Your daughter who thinks of you as nothing more than her evil uncle?" Mina was amused, shaking her head. "You–"
"Enough of it, Mina. I didn't come here for any of this, okay?" He gritted his teeth. "Your sister fell out of love with me, fine! My brother was the winner in the end, I get it. Don't rub it in my face!"
