"Sure " he said as they walk to the door.
His got a text on his phone, he took the phone and read the message he showed a bitter smile around the coner of his mouth...Kiaraa notice something was wrong.
his hand got cold immediately she released her hand from his.
He walk toward the window .
"Dad mom said you haven't been picking her calls or replying to her messages" Kiaraa tried to break the silence.
"I got alot of work to do " he said and left the office, leaving Kiaraa behind.
"Work??" Kiaraa asked leaving her mouth wide open.
"What about me??..." these questions echo in her ears.
"Why is he leaving me all the time " she cried out.
Alex haven't left he stood outside the door he heard her .
He went back inside.
"Give me your phone" he said stretching out his hands.
"Pardon "
She was holding her phone , he took it from her without asking the second time.
" what are you going to do with my phone ? Or am I grounded?" So many questions in Pearl's mind.
He ignored her and start typing on her phone.
" Huh how do you know my phone password?" She asked surprisingly
" Take, call him anytime you are going our anywhere at all , anytime am not with you" he said her back her phone .
Kiaraa was so slow to collect back her phone , she felt like the man standing in front her would disappear anytime.
"Take" he smile
She took it didn't open her phone to check what her dad was talking about.
"Saved as My Bodyguard, are you good with that" he said.
"Yes" she nodded the face on his face disappear.
"Okay then take care see you later" he turn around and left.
"I think am loosing my breath" she said holding her chest.
Jason was standing outside ..He work behind Alex
"CEO you have a meeting to.." before John could finish his statement he said
"You need to pay attention more on Kiaraa please do all your best to protect her " He path his shoulder .
"What about you sir you are the Ceo here " Jason said word by word
"My daughter safety first you are on duty now go and meet her when I need you would call you don't worry Ivan would drive me home " he disappeared from his sight, he stood there thinking if he would change his mind .
Pearl took her phone and type the number she hesitate for awhile before dailing the phone.
His phone rang he checked was unknown number.
"Hello "
"Come and take me out of his place I can't breathe. "
He realised it was lil Miss voice.
"Okay lil Miss am ..." she ended the call .he was surprised. He rushed to the Ceo office he open the door only for him to find her taking photos of her self.
" hey you came " she stood up .
I thought she's dying or something but here she looking fine even taking photos of herself.
"Uhm let's go ..I mean take me home ..my house " She said packing up her bag she avoid looking at him.She left the office.
he smirked and followed her they got to the car one of her father's car her father owns many luxury cars.
Jason start the car they left the company .
"Well not that bad at taking photos they look nice " she zoomed at the picture looking at it clearly.
" I really look like my father" she was expecting Jason to give a compliment. But he just focused on driving He ignored her .
"Am hungry let go to the restaurant " she said touching her stomach like a pregnant women.
They only had one restaurant which they often go to eat he always drives Alex there.

Immediately he maneuvered to where it facing.
They got there John turn to open the car for her to come down .
Kiaraa felt like a lil princess that moment though she as being treated like a princess in all her life her father deeply loves her than any one else .
"Have a seat lil Miss " he brought the chair underneath the table for her to seat, he stood behind.
"Order what you want to eat while I wait for you here" he said he was quite tall and handsome he wore a suit earpiece is always around his ears .
"What are you doing, you should sit and eat also aren't hungry " Kiaraa tried to be nice this time. Everyone in the restaurant thought she the president daughter or seeing a bodyguard standing next to her.
"Noo I don't want to eat, would eat next time " he replied.
" really??" She asked.
"Yup" he nodded.
"Then..I don't want to eat anymore let go" she picked up her back and stood up .
"Really ?" Jason block her way . Kiaraa rolled eyes to to him .
"Okay fine I will eat " he sat down hopelessly.
"You see the chair doesn't bite " she said smiling.
Haven't seen her smile like this before. He wondered
"Okay now pick want you like to eat" she said as she picked up the menu on the table the other one was left for him .
" Okay " he picked the other one
"Would go with this then " he called the waitress and told her what he want Kiaraa told her what she want too. Few seconds their food was brought on the table for them .
"Let's dig in " she picked up her spoon to eat . John watch her for a while , she notice he was staring at her ..
"Would you eat or keep on staring at me still your food get cold " she said with her mouthful
"Hmmm" he cough
" not use getting close or eating with the Ceo daughter , what if anyone take videos or pictures of us and post online." He sounded worried.
"Wait are you for real " she laughed almost got choked.
" I don't think anyone recognise me here, beside my father's name is not written on my forehead " she laughed.
Few minutes they were done eating, they went back to the car and left.
They got to their mansion .
" I got a text from my dad earlier that you would be my bodyguard and drive me to anywhere I want to, I want my dad to be my bodyguard himself I felt like his been taking away from me I misses him so much " she paused
"Well I appreciate your efforts and time thank you" she open the door and came down from the car , John came down also .
" you can leave now I can take care of myself " she said awkwardly.
"No I will watch you still you get inside the house " he said.
" don't be silly enough guards are here to watch over me and the house." She said laughing.
" I still don't mind" he said.
"Okay then " she walked towards the door the man standing at the door bowed and open the door for her and close the door behind her.. John drove out as she disappeared inside the house.
It was already 6pm he phone rang it was the Ceo calling.
" hello sir"
"Have you taken Kiaraa home" the caller asked.
"Yes sir am driving back to the company coming to pick you up" John said .
" no need I told you Ivan would do that just focus more on Kiaraa please protect her" he said this few words and ended the call .
John got more confused..Kiaraa just got back from the state how would they possibly be after Kiaraa there is something Mr Alex is not telling me...

Mira always goes to the shop with Mina. Mina allowed her to work in her restaurant most times Mira goes without her.
They were all seated for dinner .
"This is really taste good " Yun Jun said with his mouthful.
"Really " Pearl asked.
"Your cooking is not bad as before " her mom said.
"Yeah that true my girl is preparing to get married " Yun Jun mom said jokingly.
They all laughed.
"Yeahh I learned from the best " she hugged both her mom and Yun Jun mom.
Few minutes they were done eating Pearl washed the dishes. Pearl went to her room.
"Heyy Pearl " Yu Jun walked in after knocking the second time.
" Yes " she answered.
" Are you free?" He asked.
"Yes " she said hurriedly.
"Okay let's go for a walk" he said.
"Okayyy"she jumped out off the bed she took her phone and her tote bag along with her in the bag was, a fancy water bottle ,pink purse, lipgloss and crunches.
"Nahh..not like this " he use one of his fingers to push her head
"Why ?"
"Your dress"
" what's wrong with it"
"Too bad " he said folding his hands on his chest.
"So what do you think bro?" She asked
"Uhm let's see what you have here " he said walking towards her wardrobe.
" uhm wait I don't think it right for you to pick what I would wear" she said
"But am your brother ...why can't I pick a dress for my lil sister " he said showing a cute smile.
