[Scene: Execution Platform – Dawn vs. eminence level Captain]
Dawn:
"Water Magic: Aqua Spin Barrier!"
A spiraling wall of water formed instantly around her, whirling at blinding speed.
It deflected the molten boulders raining down from above—chunks of burning earth from the captain's latest attack:
"Magma Magic: Magma Fall!"
BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.
Explosions rocked the field as droplets of magma crashed against Dawn's barrier, hissing violently as steam burst in all directions.
The heat was suffocating—but Dawn didn't flinch.
She stepped forward, blue aura shimmering around her body like a second skin.
"Water Magic: Aqua Waves!"
She flung her arms wide, then brought them together in a sharp cross at her shoulders. A massive tidal wave burst forth from her position, roaring like a crashing sea and surging straight toward the enemy captain.
The magma captain's eyes narrowed.
"Magma Magic: Magma Cage!"
Flaming chains of molten rock erupted from the ground, forming a dome-like shield in front of him. The water struck it, steam exploded from the contact, and a thunderous hiss filled the air.
Some water broke through the gaps—but most of it evaporated.
The captain smirked.
"Futile."
But Dawn was already preparing her next spell.
She slammed her iron staff into the ground.
"Water Magic: Leviathan Surge!"
The ground beneath her shimmered as glowing blue symbols spiraled outward—
From behind her, a massive water dragon erupted into existence, its body swirling with oceanic force, glowing eyes locked on the magma captain.
The sheer presence made the battlefield tremble.
The captain's expression turned serious.
"Looks like the real battle starts now…"
"Magma Magic: Magma Shower!"
From above, hundreds of tiny magma comets began to fall—like a burning rain—striking the water dragon with relentless fury. Each impact sent steam gushing into the air. The beast's body slowly began to evaporate.
But Dawn didn't hesitate.
She raised her staff, and the dragon twisted into a high-speed spiral, forming a whirlpool tornado in the air before crashing downward toward the captain.
"Leviathan Spiral Dive!"
The impact was colossal.
But the captain roared—
"Magma Magic: Spiral Shot!"
A concentrated burst of magma, shaped like a spinning drill, tore upward. It pierced the dragon's body, ripping it in half, then continued forward—aimed directly at Dawn.
It was too fast.
The spiral struck.
BOOM!
A shockwave burst outward.
But when the smoke cleared—
She was still standing.
Her body glowing. Her eyes sharper.
A shimmering blue aura surrounded her from head to toe, hair gently lifting from the pressure of raw elemental energy.
Water Drive.
The air chilled.
The very moisture in the air now obeyed her.
The magma captain's face hardened. "You entered your Drive Mode, huh?"
Dawn calmly reached over her shoulder and unslung her iron rod, spinning it once through the air.
The nearby droplets of water shimmered—drawn to her motion like puppets on strings.
She pointed the rod at the captain.
Then—flash.
A whip of pressurized water struck him square in the chest, launching him backward, tearing through his armor.
"Water Magic: Cyclone Vertex!"
She lifted both arms. A swirling tornado of water formed around the captain, lifting him into the air. The pressure inside the cyclone grew violent, with slicing blades of water cutting through in every direction.
For a moment, it looked like the battle was over.
Then—
BOOM.
The cyclone exploded into smoke.
A red-hot blast of energy shattered it from within.
The captain emerged—eyes burning, body glowing with heat. His armor cracked and melted from the sheer intensity of his aura.
Magma Drive.
Both fighters stood, staring at one another.
Their magic pressure clashed—fire and water colliding in the air, creating thunderclouds above them from the sheer clash of elements.
They both knew what this meant.
This fight was now a contest of stamina and precision.
Drive Modes amplified everything—their power, speed… but also their magic drain. The longer they stayed in this state, the faster their strength would disappear.

The captain rushed forward, chain-whip burning with flame.
Dawn met him, spinning her staff like a dancer of the tide.
They clashed.
Again and again—flame and water collided, sending out violent bursts of mist, sparks, and smoke. The execution platform beneath them was soaked and scorched at once.
Dawn panted. Her magic was slipping. Her drive was fading.
"I need one clean hit…"
Dawn gripped her iron rod tightly, magic flaring in her palms. With a swift surge of water magic, the rod transformed—blades of flowing water forming on both ends, turning it into a deadly double-ended weapon. The water shimmered with dense mana, cutting the air with every spin.
She twisted the rod, spinning it with fluid mastery, and in the blink of an eye—charged toward the captain.
The captain slammed his palm into the ground.
"Magma Magic: Volcanic Walls!"
The earth roared. Walls of molten rock burst from the ground, glowing with intense heat and dripping lava like searing fangs meant to stop her charge.
But Dawn didn't stop.
Her water blades hissed violently as they clashed with the magma. She sliced through the first wall, then the second, her speed increasing with each strike. With every swing, more magma shattered into steam and rubble.
Faster. Sharper. Unrelenting.
Wall after wall crumbled beneath her assault—until she launched herself into the air, twisting midair and bringing her weapon down in a blazing arc toward the captain.
Clang!
The captain raised his arm, wrapped in hardened magma. He blocked the blow, the clash of raw magic sending a violent shockwave across the field. The very ground trembled beneath their feet.
Magic radiated from both of them—dense, overwhelming, a visible aura that pulsed like a heartbeat of pure energy.
They leapt back, catching their breath.
Then Dawn raised her rod with one hand and slammed it into the earth.
Dawn:
"Water Magic: Whirlpool Destruction!"
The earth groaned—and then shook violently.
Even the captain flinched. Nearby soldiers stumbled as the tremors spread.
Suddenly, massive whirlpools of spiraling water erupted from the ground at multiple points—gushing upward, tearing through soil and stone.
Some whirlpools spun toward distant enemies, crashing into royal guards and even vice captains.
One of them struck the captain head-on, launching him skyward, water spiraling around his body like a storm's wrath.
But he twisted midair and focused.
"Magma Magic: Physical Manifestation Technique!"
Magma swirled around his limbs, forming hardened gauntlets and boots. He landed hard—but smoothly—steam rising around him.
Dawn dropped to one knee, panting. Her magic drive flickered, on the edge of breaking.
The captain stood again—blood dripping from his temple, armor cracked, but still steady. He was in better shape, but not by much.
Dawn looked up, narrowing her eyes.
She gathered her remaining power and funneled it all into the tip of her rod. A spherical orb of water began to form, glowing and swirling, growing larger and heavier with pressure.
The captain's expression tightened. He could feel it—the weight of magic building.
But then—the orb vanished.
He blinked.
Dawn raised the rod, aiming it directly at him—like a sniper.
CRACK!
A compressed water bullet fired with a sharp sonic boom, tearing through the air faster than the eye could follow.
The captain dodged instinctively—but not fast enough.
The bullet clipped his bicep, piercing through his armor with explosive force. Blood sprayed out, and he staggered, clutching his arm.
Dawn's form wavered. Her magic drive faded, aura vanishing as she dropped to one knee again, sweat trailing down her face. Her limbs trembled with exhaustion.
The captain bled—but he was still in drive mode.
Dawn raised one shaky hand, fingers outstretched, and with delicate control began pulling water from the battlefield into a floating stream beside her—ready to strike again, even if she had to drag her body to do it
But—
"Magma Magic: Volcanic Grab!"
From the ground, molten hands shot up—grabbing Dawn's legs. She tried to dodge, but they closed around her ankles.
Too late.
"Magma Magic: Blazing Lance!"
A spear of magma formed in the captain's hand.
He appeared before her in a flash.
His face twisted in fury.
"End of the line!"
He drove the spear downward.
CLANG—!
But it never landed.
BANG.
A blur of silver and fire crashed into the scene.
The spear shattered midair—blocked by a glowing mirror barrier.
Standing in front of Dawn…
Gray.

He had burns on his hands. Blood on his coat. His guns still holstered.
But his blades were drawn, both reflecting a faint silvery glow.
"You good?" he asked Dawn without turning his head.
She looked up at him, wide-eyed. "Gray…"
He glared at the captain.
"I think it too much for a girl to handle".
If you are a real men then fight me Mr. Captain.
Gray smiled.
He twisted his blades, forming a cross pattern in front of him.
"Now you get the real fight."
