The next day at the dedmoor Orphanage
I'm here in front of the almost covered in bushes abandoned orphanage.. It's full of danger signs and barricades.
"Are you ready?" Mr. Vale asked me, I nodded and smiled a bit before walking behind him
He started an incantation I couldn't quite here but I'm pretty sure it's for us to enter without removing the protection spell..
I feel chill run down my spine as we entered the orphanage, holding my pen and notebook almost clutching it into my chest..
"Be careful and cautious." he said really not bothered as if we just entered a normal abandoned building not a hunted one.
Anyways there are 3 of us here, me, Mr. Vale and Sol. She said she wanted to come with us because she also have some papers that need to be done that can be connected here.
I can still remember this place, clearly. I know this place like the back of my hand. But the only difference now is it's not lively anymore instead it's already dead.
"I remember this room.. This is Kylie's room." I whispered as I opened the door of one of the rooms..
"Why is room looks kinda untouched?" Sol whispered back as we entered the room. Every parts I'm taking it down on my notes scared that I'll miss a single detail.
I walked on the other hallways and there I saw the drawing in the clues.. The black suited figure holding a child, and there's a child hand written on it that says Daddy.
While walking through the other rooms and hallways there are new symbols there like a drawing of a family but with blood.. Broken heart shapes that are not mentioned at the past reports, what could this means?
"Let's put a static recorder here while we walk" Sol said before putting the static recorder in one of the chairs in the hallway.
I continue walking deep inside the orphanage, when I come down to the room where it all started.. Elly's room. Of all the places here in the orphanage this room is the most stinking and the messier even in the hallways.
I entered the room, when suddenly the dooe slammed closed. I didn't panic as I know whoever is in here, they won't hurt me.
"Elly? Are you here?" I whispered as I look around
I saw a notebook lying at the blood covered bed of Elly, I picked it up and open it

My eyes are confused at the dates, I don't know if it's playing with me but I checked the last page of the notebook

My heart thumps in my chest as if it's going to get out of me, I can feel her, I can feel her behind me
But when I turn around she's not there, I exhale and tried to open the door but it won't budge, that's when I start to panic as I'm already scared and now I cannot open it. I slammed it when suddenly
"Hi Ein!" no one, no one called me that name ever since what happened 6 years ago. "You just came why leaving so suddenly? Aren't you here to accompany me?"
I was scared to look behind me, I keep my hands on the door knob like if I let go she'll grabbed me and kill me, but with all my strength I look at where the voice is, my back slamming at the door.
"Elly.." I whispered, this isn't the Elly I last saw.. As if she grew up like me. But that can't be.. 6 years ago she died..
"Ein, I thought you already forgot about me! Before you always come here for me but you've been gone for 6 years! You grown up." she looks friendly
But in reality she's just trying to let me lower my guard down, I didn't speak.. I keep ignoring her when suddenly she jumped on me and I fell into the ground trying to remove her on top of me...
"For fucks sake! Aria!" As if I woke up from a dream, Mr. Vale is in infront of me shaking me while Sol is behind him looking so scared and worried.
I frantically look around the room, I am exactly where I am when I met Elly but she's not here..
"Aria, when I put down the static recorder you become so distant.. I keep calling and talking to you but you weren't answering me." she explained, she's explaining it like I got possessed
"When you saw this room you immediately entered and locked the door.. So I called Mr. Vale and when we came back you're slamming yourself on the door and.. And when Mr. Vale put you down you suddenly got aggressive-" Sol didn't finished her sentence
"Enough." Mr. Vale shutting her off
I did what?
"B..but that's not what happening in my perspective.." I whispered
"You're hallucinating, it seems that the hallucinations got more vivid now than before." Mr. Vale explained
Hallucinating? Me? H.. How is that even happened...
As Sol helped me up, I hold my head because I'm quite dizzy. Mr. Vale told us it's enough for today and we immediately need to leave before I got another hallucinations
When I get out of the room, I look behind to look at it, there was Elly standing at the door waving at me smiling happily. My whole body shakes as I feel scared and powerless.
"Aria.. We are here don't worry everything you see is not true." Sol reassuring me
But to what happened I feel like if I close my eyes they will be gone again and I'll be left alone here again with Elly..
As I got home, Sol insisted on coming home with me so she can look after me.
" Sol? Can you sleep beside me?" I asked as if I'm a child who's scared to sleep alone.
Sol just smiled and happily lay down beside me.
I feel safe in Sol's presence.. That's when I drift off to sleep.
