Because of what happened, Mr. Vale made a decision that this visit today at the orphanage will be the last visit.
"You think I can go?" I asked Sol while I'm looking at myself at the mirror
"If you dont want-"
"No it's ok, I can do this." I smiled at Sol, she smiled back and we headed to the dedmoor again.
I stare at the orphanage and sigh, I need to gather all the information today!.. Well without having any severe hallucinations or what.. But one thing is now clear to me Elly is the first victim.
It's been 2 hours and so far so good, no signs or sightings of Elly here.
"You got everything? I have meeting in 1 hour." Mr. Vale said while beside me and using his phone
"Mr. Vale is this normal?" I pointed at the orphanage library room
There's a glowing book there, on the top shelf. It seems that it's supposed to be hidden because of the height of this and the broken sealed beside it...
Mr. Vale walked inside and tried to grabbed the book, but instead a creek echoed.
"Something opened?" I whispered while looking around, I saw a small opening beside the book shelf.
"Look, there's an opening here.." I pointed
Mr. Vale walk beside me and slide the door open.. It's like a basement.. But this isn't the orphanage's basement because it's in another side of this room..
I insist on going down the stairs, the basement is looking very old and forgotten.. The furniture is in 60s or 50s designs.. Most are ancient looking..
"Does the Nexus Void knew about this secret passage?" I asked
"No, this room cannot be sensed by the systems. Something is sealing this." Mr. Vale said while walking behind me
Mr. Vale walking behind me make me feel at ease knowing he's strong enough to protect me if something happen.
I walk towards the other room on the left side of the basement, what caught my attention is the thick smoke like sealed that's been sealing it.. And the yellow danger tape surrounding it.
I think I can temporarily remove the seal using my element.
Wind bless me with protection and open the seal that's surrounding this room so I can see what's kept inside.
Suddenly the sealed made a way for me to open it, the sealed isn't completely removed so this is fine. I open the door slowly and there.. I saw a chair in the middle of the room a corpse of a woman sitting on it.
"Oh god.." I whispered as I flashlight around the room
It's filled with "mother" words written in blood.. I walk closer to the corpse and I saw its hands carrying a baby..
This corpse might be the Mother that agent Calusy Moor's ashes wrote.. 6 years ago when agent Calusy was burned to death her ashes wrote Mother.. The files also said the before agent Calusy was burned into ashes she keeps singing nursery rhymes in reverse..
"Mr. Vale, what are we going to do?" I asked
"You'll solved the case and the special team would be handling the rest." he said calmly
I sighed and nodded, as I take a pictures and some notes I'm about to leave when suddenly I saw Elly on the corner.
"Ein.. Daddy is in my room.. Daddy is mad.. Mother is gone." She said while crying, her voice isn't the same as before, her voice sound so matured. "You know I won't hurt you Ein, I won't hurt my best friend.. I've been trapped here.. Daddy is killing.. Daddy is mad! Mother is gone!" she screams
So that entity in her room isn't her but that daddy she's talking about.. I smiled at her "I promise you, all the souls that's trapped here will be soon come to peace." I said, her face hesitates but she smiled back. I left the room and suddenly I felt the pain in my chest slowly going away
"Are you ok?" Mr. Vale speaks
"Can you help me go to Elly's room again, Mr. Vale? The entity I saw in that room isn't Elly but a disguise 'Daddy' they're talking about." I asked, he only nodded as we walk to the room
He opened Elly's door and there we saw the tall dark suited figure
"Why are you here? What do you want? Why are you not letting the souls of the children go?" I shouted, he crawl on the wall chuckling
"They are my Children now!" his voice is hoarse and creepy
He's about to jump onto me when Mr. Vale shielded me with I don't know what's that invisible shield. His fangs out.
"Dare to hurt her and you will meet your end." Mr. Vale said his voice cold, his dark aura surrounding the whole room
The figure instantly backed out and vanishes through the walls.
Me and Mr. Vale gets out of the orphanage as I already got the clues I needed, I greeted Sol who's inside the car the whole time.
Inside the car while Mr. Vale is driving us back to the company me and Sol are talking.
"It turns out that Mr. Alexander saw the door of the orphanage that has been sealed is opened .. But the entity is still inside.. so that means that the entity deceived them so they will think that it escaped and it's a high level ranking entity so they closed the case and restricted it.. that entity did that so the people will stop bothering what he wants.." I said, telling the story I observed to Sol.
"What does the entity wants?" Sol asked confused
"He wants the soul of the children, earlier he said that the children is now his children.. So it means he wants them to be his Children" I said
"So the entity isn't a high ranking entity? He just pretended to be one because he doesn't want to be disturbed in his plans?" Sol asked again
"He is not, no. When I used my vision on him I saw a red aura means he's just dangerous but not a high ranking entity." Mr. Vale interrupted
Mr. Vale is so amazing.. His vision can see the entities aura even if it's hidden??
In this world, if you're strong enough you have the ability to hide your aura so the others will think you're strong and high ranking.
Well obviously I'm not strong enough to hide my aura..
As we came back to the company I immediately tend to Mr. Vale's needs, especially because I'm his assistant in the first place, and if I solved this case I would become his full time secretary!!
Well the systems emailed me again last night saying this case is only a initiation if I can be really assigned as a full time secretary of Mr. Vale.. Because all in the worlds knows Mr. Vale handles a super dark and dangerous business..
