SIENNA
I was anxiously waiting for Theron. The question was: how would I talk to him? If my father didn't even want me to have a phone to speak freely with him, how the hell would I manage to leave the castle without being seen?
Theron was coming, and I had been stupid enough not to say something like: where will we meet, since I am forbidden — in other words — from seeing you? No, I only said we should talk face-to-face. What an idiot!
I took a deep breath. The King's Lands weren't a few minutes away from Shadowfang, but several hours. Even if Theron came running instead of driving, it would still take him some time to get there. So, I decided to take a bath to relax and do a mini spa. Later, I'd shower again before he arrived, to look perfect. It wasn't exactly a romantic date, but still, I wanted to look my best.
When I came out, still wrapped in a towel, my mother was waiting, sitting on the bed, and I had to place a hand over my chest because of the scare she gave me.
