Blade
A few days had passed and Blade was still in hospitals. Investigators from all over the city have asked him the same questions; 'what happened that night? Was is a drug deal gone wrong?' Blades answers had always been the same. 'I am not involved' and the truth was is that what happened the night he got shot was spontaneous and random and Blade was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. And Blade didn't really know either all he knew was one moment he was just some kid on the street and the next minute he was getting asked these stupid questions.
This kinda annoyed Blade. So he resulted in short one word answer responses just to get them off his back. And it worked
He was getting discharged today.
Blade smiled at the thought of this. A lady walked in who looked to be in her fifties closely followed by a girl who looked to be about Blade's age. Blondes. Mother and daughter Blade assumed.
'Hello,' the older woman began. 'My name is Josie, and this is my daughter Rosie, I am afraid you will have limited options but to stay with us for the time being, Blade, if that is ok?' Blade stared into the eyes of Josie who was in front of him. She was genuine and looked kind at heart she had a big smile across her face, he glanced at Rosie who was stood next to her she looked concerned but there was a prominent reassuringly smile present. He could trust them Blade knew even from the first impression of them that they where genuine and had genuine feelings and concerns , maybe this would be a good opportunity to have an attempt of a normal life. He smiled . Josie smiled back. It was settled then.
Rosie
The past few days wasn't as relaxing as Rosie had previously thought they would be. Her mother had been filling out paperwork after paperwork.
'So, Rosie. Are you sure you are ok with this happening?' Rosie knew that if she was in the same position as this Blade guy the only thing she would want is a safe place to go to everyday. 'Of course it is mom, I told you before it is ok, we are going to be late at this rate let's go!' Her mother chuckled. Rosie smiled.

They arrived at the hospital at just gone 1pm. They were greeted by a triage nurse. 'So, are you guys aware of his condition and mentor state?' Both Rosie and Josie nodded and replied with 'yes'.
'Ok,just wanted to confirm that you where' the nurse smiled with reassurance. 'The patient is in room 241 which is just along the corridor and to the left.'
Josie and Rosie walked along the corridor. Rosie hated hospitals just the smell of them was enough for her to feel nauseous. Despite this Rosie continued to smile nervously. She was nervous about meeting Blade. She didn't know what he was like or how he was going to react to this sudden change of life , however her mother was okay with it so she has to be too.
'Room 241' they were there. A nurse nodded as if signaling that it is ok for them to enter. They did.
Rosie glanced to the bed the boy looked to be around her age and had shaggy black hair. He looked like he had been through a lot the first thing she noticed was his glaze it reminded her of a deer in headlights almost. Even tho he had long sleeves on Rosie couldn't help but notice that he was hiding scars. She couldn't help but worry about this. He looked nervous. He needed reassurance to know that it is ok and that he could trust her. She smiled. To her surprise he gave her a genuine smile back as if to say that he trusts her this lit a little warm fire inside Rosie as it was obvious that he didn't trust people.
