"Oh? Can your son do that, too? I mean, power up your tech?" Jinx asked, her curiosity piqued.
"I only have 30% of the artifact's powers, so I can't do that," Frederick said, a hint of frustration in his voice.
"But you have used the artifact, right?" Jinx pressed, her gaze fixed on him.
The three of them exchanged silent glances.
"Come on, you wouldn't have an artifact like that and not use it," Jinx said with a frown.
Jolie exhaled and rose from her throne:
"Come with me," she said, walking past Jinx toward the door.
"O...Kay." Jinx drew out the word, then followed behind her, with Jade and Frederick right on her heels.
