After the light recovery session, Niels drove home in silence.
The roads were already busy, fans in red shirts filling the streets, waving flags, singing out of car windows.
Crawley was still buzzing.
At home, he didn't turn on the TV or music.
He went straight to the kitchen, made a coffee, and sat down at the table.
The house was quiet.
The coffee was still hot, but he had only taken a sip.
Outside, he could hear distant voices, fireworks, and the sound of cars honking.

But right now, it felt quiet.
