Chapter 126: Out of Sync

Location: Bramall Lane, Sheffield
It was a cold morning after a tough week of training.
As the team bus pulled up to Bramall Lane in Sheffield, Niels stepped out into the puddles. He was nervous but determined.
This was only their second League One match, and Sheffield United was a notoriously physical team. It felt like a make-or-break moment for the squad.
The media was still piling on. On the bus ride over, a radio pundit had bluntly called out Crawley's "messy midfield," saying they looked lost.
It added to the lingering doubt from the past week, and Niels could tell the players felt the pressure.
Still, he knew what his guys were capable of.
Outside, the stadium was filling up with loud, chanting home fans. Inside the away dressing room, the players dropped their bags in silence.
The tension from the week was obvious.
