"Ok, are you ready, Leviathan?" I asked the next day at the beginning of her training.
"Yeah, I'm ready," Leviathan muttered.
Before the training, Leviathan told me that she wasn't good at hand-to-hand combat, so she asked if we could only use our skills to fight.
Out of all the devil kings, Leviathan is the shortest and the weakest, physically, but in skills and ability, she's considered to be the strongest.
"Star Beam!" Leviathan roared, fired a star-shaped golden light beam, traveling so fast that if you blink, you're dead.
"Light weight!" I shouted, firing the same skill, with the same amount of energy to counter hers. When the two attacks come into contact, it creates a shockwave so powerful that it destroys everything in its path and sends Leviathan flying.
Leviathan gasped, getting back on her feet, "What the? How can you use that skill? Only people with angel lineage could use that skill." She added, "Don't tell me, are you an angel's kid?"
After hearing what Leviathan uttered, the only thing I could've done was laugh.
"What type of BS are you uttering? Me, an angel's kid? You know that a celestial being can't make a child with a human." I laughed, but inside I felt hurt because I didn't know who my parents were.
"Oh yeah, you're right. But that doesn't explain how you can use a skill that only people with angel lineage can use?" She asked.
"Because it's not only an angel skill. Anyway, look alive; I'm going to blast an attack similar to Star Beam. The only option for you is to block it with the dark barrier."
I activated a skill called, "Sunflower seed explosion!" to blast at her.
A giant sunflower grew out of the ground, and when it started blooming, it fired its seeds, packed with a massive amount of explosive charges, at Leviathan.
Leviathan shouted, "Dark Barrier!" Setting up a barrier to block the attack.
Each second pass, the more her reverse grace drains, and eventually her reverse grace ran out.
After Leviathan's reverse grace is completely drained, the barrier disappears, and Leviathan falls to the ground.
Suddenly, a burst of dark energy stronger than her previous energy started leaking out of Leviathan's body, engulfing the training ground, and once again, another devil king's true power emerged.
Leviathan got up and brushed the dirt off her clothes. "Tsukiko, can you turn that ability off? I want to test out my new ability on you." She asked.
The moment I turned off Die Fähigkeit Negieren, the real training began.
"Envious Optimum!" She roared, sending a passive ability toward me undetected. Suddenly, after the ability reached me, I felt I was getting enraged and started envying Leviathan about everything she had accomplished.
"No, such ability will never work on me." I smirked, "Mind Manipulate!"
I activated mind manipulation and temporarily altered my own mind to disrupt her ability.
Abruptly, after altering my own mind, I collapsed to the floor unconscious, and started dreaming about someone and somewhere.
Everyone in the training ground gasped in shock because they thought Leviathan actually killed me.
In the dream state, I was lying in a bed, and then someone shouted at me.
"Hey, Arthur, get up already! It's time for breakfast!" When I got up, I saw a girl with dashing brown hair and a perfect figure, but something felt similar, it was like I knew her.
"Huh, who are you?" I replied, confusedly.
"It's too early for your shenanigans, I made a full English breakfast, honey. So hurry up before it gets cold." She uttered smoothly.
"Honey, hey, you, I don't know who you are, and I got here, but I'm leaving," I uttered, walking to the exit.
"I told you it's too early for your shenanigans, Arthur!" She shouted, dashed towards me, and punched me in my face.
"Huh, why did you.... Wait did you just call me Arthur? My name isn't Arthur." I added, "And your face reminded me of someone I know." I muttered.
"Do you want another hit across your face? Of course it does, you idiot! I'm your wife after all! And your name is Arthur, Arthur Pendragon." She shouted.
Suddenly, I fainted, and when I opened my eyes, I saw Leviathan standing over me, looking at me with watery eyes, about to cry.
"Huh, where am I.... Oh, it's you, Leviathan." I muttered.
"What happened to you?" She asked. "I felt my new ability got cancelled, and then you collapsed. Are you ok?" She cried, "I thought I killed you!"
I sighed, "Yeah, I'm ok, I just used mind manipulation to temporarily alter my mind to disrupt your ability; that's all."
Suddenly a wave of memories of what happened started overflowing in my head.
"Wait, I just remember something else. After I changed my mind, I had this weird dream about a girl calling me, Arthur Pendragon, or something like that. And she said she's my wife."
"Arthur Pendragon? I've never heard of such a stupid name before." She replied.
"Anyway, let's get back to training, and this time I'm keeping my Die Fähigkeit Negieren active," I muttered.
"Oh, I'm out of reverse grace, so I think training is over for today." She rambled.
"You're not the one who decides if training is over, it's me. But if you're out of reverse grace, then training is over for today." I uttered, getting up on my feet.
The moment I took down the barrier that protected the devil kings on the outside, they ran straight towards me, asking a lot of questions like, "Are you okay?", "Did Leviathan actually defeat you?", and "Did you die just now?".
I immediately shut them up and uttered, "For tomorrow's training, I will be training Beelzebub. Ok, training is over."
I don't know why, but I didn't feel like it was necessary to tell the others about the weird dream I had.
After that brief conversation, I snapped my fingers, changed the training ground back into an inn, and headed to the bath.
The moment I entered, Belphegor and the other guys entered too.
"It doesn't look like you're doing ok, so we decided to keep an eye on you," Mammon muttered.
"Huh, what are you guys talking about? And how many do I have to tell you, when I'm in the bath; stay out!" I roared, pushing them out.
After that, I went into the onsen and took a long soak.
"You know what would make this bath incredible? Booze." I thought to myself, trying to drown out the weird dream I just had, but I couldn't stop thinking about it.
"What was with that weird dream today, and why does that woman look exactly like you, Asmodeus?" I wandered.
