The next day, after punishing Leviathan for her action, I proceeded with training.
They did the usuals: 50 km, push-ups, and pull-ups. After that was concluded, the real training began.
"After seeing how you guys fought me yesterday, today's training, you guys will face me individually," I uttered, pointing at them.
"Huh, why do you want us to face you individually today? Are you scared of us now?" Asmodeus asked smirking.
I sighed, patting her head, "Even if you grow a hundred times stronger, I will still be way stronger than a weakling like you."
"You stuck-up bastard...." Asmodeus mumbled.
"Did you just call me a stuck-up bastard?" I asked
"N-n-n- no I didn't." She stammered.
I sighed, shaking my head, "Anyway, the reason why I'm training you guys individually today is because I'm going to show you my fighting style and how to fight with your ability the right way." I added, "I hate to say this, but Asmodeus is a better fighter than you guys when it comes to fighting with her abilities."
"Yeah, I'm a better fighter! I'm stronger than you all!" She cheered, excitedly.
I patted her head, "I said you're a better fighter, not a stronger one. Don't go twisting my words. You're still the weakest one here in raw strength and ability."
Suddenly, my body double teleported to me. He looked like someone had beaten him up. He took two steps then fell to the floor.
"Hey me, I need your help." He muttered, out of breath.
"Hey you, what's up with you?" I asked. "Did Azazel invade the nation?! I told you to report to me if anything happens, you toddler."
"No, it's mommy, I mean Sarah. She wanted to spar with me, so I accepted and held back all of my strength against her because I didn't want to hurt her." He added, "It's the worst decision I made in my life."
I shook my head, "Is this what you disturb me for?! I thought it was something bad happening!" I shouted.
"That's not the only reason why I'm here." He mumbled.
"Ok, so talk," I replied, pissed off.
"I need Excalibur. I need it to beat mommy, I mean Sarah."
I grabbed my body double and threw him out of my training ground. "Now that the inconvenient toddler is gone, who wants to spar with me first?" I asked.
Mammon raised his hand and muttered, "The faster I get this over with, the longer I can relax."
I chuckled, "Good decision, now let's begin."
He activated Silent Step, dashed towards me, and after he got into my striking range, he unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks.
"Really? Is that all you can do?" I smirked, blocking them all.
"No, that's not all. Earth splitter and gravity push!" He shouted.
Suddenly, the earth below me started shaking, and the air around me became denser with a crushing sensation, but unlike the last time, I was prepared for his attack.
Before I got pushed into the ground once again, I leaped up into the air and unleashed the skill, " Fire and Ice!" at him.
"Teleport!" He shouted and moved to a safer location from the attack.
"Shit, if I didn't....." Before he could utter another word, the fire and ice attack blasted into him. After the attack landed, a ginormous explosion occurred, destroying the area around him.
"How? I teleported from the attack." He muttered, exhausted because he used all of his reverse grace into a defence skill call, "Dark Barrier.".
Dark barrier is a skill developed by the "Ultimate Devil" that blocks all skill attacks within a range of 0.5 centimetres to 10 meters of the user. Still, the downside is that it drains your reverse grace rapidly, faster than other skills.
"Ha, don't you know fire and ice is undodgeable? It doesn't matter how fast you are, it can match the speed of its target." I uttered. "Anyway, now that Mammon is down, who's next?"
Mammon got back to his feet, "I'm not done yet; let's continue."
The presence of Mammon became denser, anomalous, and darker than it was before. He's surging with an unbelievable amount of reverse grace.
Every one of the devil kings is frozen in fear after sensing the presence of Mammon now.
"I see, so you've finally tapped into your..." Before I could finish, Mammon teleported behind me and swung a punch. I blocked it but the force sent me flying back, crashing into a wall.
After that punch, Mammon fell down to the ground.
His siblings rushed over to him to see what had happened to him.
"Damn, that kinda tickles a little," I mutter, brushing the concrete off me.
"Anyway, don't worry about him, he just tapped into some of his true power, but his body isn't strong enough to constantly stay in that form," I uttered. "Anyway, don't worry about him, he's going to be ok."
"Huh, how did he tap into so much of his true power at once and without dying? I will ask him about it when he's awake." I thought to myself, while healing him.
"Anyway, training is done for today, tomorrow Belphegor with be fighting me."
"Huh?" Belphegor replied, confusedly.
I snapped my fingers, changing the training ground into an inn. "Ok, take Mammon to his room, Beelzebub. I'm going to take a bath."
"I still can't believe it, Mammon just awakened his true powers and jumped to stage 3, skipping stages 1 and 2." I thought to myself, soaking in the bath.
Each devil's true power has a stage, the highest stage before the current devil kings was stage 5, and that was Lucifer and the Ultimate Devil.
Suddenly, the bath door opened and Belphegor, Beelzebub, and Satan entered. "Hey, what are you guys doing in here? Don't you see I'm bathing?"
"Cool your jets, this is a bath, and we men can bath in the same bath, or you're upset that Asmodeus isn't the one who entered?" Belphegor teased.
"He's gonna pay for that tomorrow," I mumbled to myself.
"Anyway, how is Mammon, Beelzebub?" I asked.
"He's ok, he just woke up and I gave him something to eat." He replied.
"That's good to know, anyway, I'm going to leave now. Belphegor you're gonna pay for what you just said to me." I uttered, exiting the bath.
"Huh, I was just playing with you!" He yelled, whining like a toddler.
After that, I ate something, went to my room, locked the door, and went to sleep.
A few hours ago, in heaven, Gabriel sensed Mammon's overwhelming presence and alerted Michael about it.
"I see, so another devil king had awakened their true powers, huh? That's excellent." Michael muttered.
