Lighting a torch as it brightens their view, the cave was just a normal one, water dripping on the sides, bats and insects lingering around. As they pass, Rev and his grandpa felt that something was off, but they continued to advance, where they only saw stones, droplets of water and puddles.
They keep on advancing deeper till then, they saw a something emitting a blue light, a soldier check on it and it was a mana crystals. Mana crystals are commonly produce in caves, mountain and even ruins, their uses is to replenish the mana essence easier and faster. Some have smaller amount and some have bigger or larger amount of mana essence.
Though they can't mine those, since their task is to investigate about the cave only and as they continue on advancing. Rev's grandpa pondered why there are no grey wolves or maybe they were all defeated outside, thought by Rev.
Assessing the surroundings there were more mana crystals, but from what he saw, they weren't produce in the cave because some of the mana crystals which look like they were piled in a group. One of the soldiers said that it might be an earthquake that's why it formed in that way but some argued and said that they didn't feel any earthquake, a days or even a week and at the thoughts of those two, Rev's grandpa---
" Unless someone is gathering it "
Is also what Rev thought, the soldiers were befuddled and look each other, that would be expected because why would someone gather the mana crystals and pile it like a treasure.
" (Unless it is--- ) "

Rev's thought was interrupted and feel like there are grey wolves approaching right in front of them, the same as his grandpa felt,. He shouted and ordered his soldiers to get ready in forming a battle stance. The soldiers were nervous waiting who would appear on the dark silhouette but there were only two grey wolves.
The two of them attacked, some of the soldiers who were essence users and non-essence users fought back, clashing with each other they defeated two grey wolves with five people. It was not a feat since they don't know if some of the grey wolves will appear out of nowhere, still they continue to advance with Albert's lead.
As they walked they saw three grey wolves sleeping on the pile of mana crystals. Sniffing, they noticed it, opened their eyes and got up. Their behavior change drastically and growled then attacked, but Rev's grandpa slashed them one by one with his large broadsword. Someone appears in their back path, five of them were covered with blood at their mouth.
Rev's grandpa thought that there must be grey wolves hid and roamed outside to find a food for themselves as the scouters, which didn't check it properly and miss it. Five of them and four more appeared in their front, the soldiers encircled Rev to protect him and his grandpa took the front to take the four grey wolves.
One after another the old man slashed them, but it seems like he can't force more strength since it will probably cause some damage on the cave and collapse whereas he didn't want to because they would be buried alive inside the cave.
Controlling his strength, he can still kill them instantly but even so the numbers of grey wolves are increasing, appearing each death of grey wolf. At the corner of his eyes he saw that the soldiers are struggling, since there are only six essence users class of fighters. It will be problematic if the remaining normal soldiers would be injured and it will be hard for him to protect his grandson.
" ( Damn it! My grandson isn't a essence user yet )
" ( My grandpa probably think t⁹in that way so... What should I do... should I just show them? ) "
Wrath who was watching, glance at his young master, their eyes met and shake his shadowy head slowly. It's as if he knows what his young master would do in that situation and hinting that it would be a bad idea. Rev grit his teeth slightly because he feels like he is just a hindrance with them and maybe even cause a death because of him blocking it with only two shields and it would not last that long. Rev's grandpa saw them while slashing the incoming grey wolves at him and he suddenly shout---
The two soldiers who was holding the shield nodded.
" Young master Rev please move together with us while we were protecting you both of us will make a path and if you see a opportunity then run through it "
" U-Uh y-yeah okay "
Rev voice stuttered, but can only nodded to them, the remaining soldiers supported the two soldiers who have shield running through them as bashing the grey wolves. Rev then run as fast as he can, but then there was one more grey wolf appeared in his path and stop, it attack him but one of the soldiers shout and pull his arm.
" Watch out!! Young master Rev!! "
The soldier who shouted at the Rev protected him, he covered him with shield, but the force of grey wolf impact was stronger. Which the soldier lost its balance and bump to Rev, at that, the wall he landed on collapse suddenly---
" Eh? Ehhhhhhhhhh!!!?? "
" Young master Rev!!! "
" Rev !!!!! "
Rev who was shocked by surprise fall deeply in the dark, as the soldiers, his grandpa and Wrath can only shout his name.
Rev continued to fall, gasped in realization that he can use Kirpy's attribute, he started to amplify it in his self and a green like aura coated him. He tried to balance his self, land on each side like a zig zag to reduce the fall's gravity and continued until he reach the surface.
" Phew... I thought I was I gonna die there "
" Hoh.... as expected of young master of course you wouldn't die with that kind of height, but to be the truth I was also surprise watching you fall, didn't thought a cave's wall would be that thin "
Wrath who keep on silent mode, suddenly talk in sarcastic way and appeared.
" Oi... You only watch-- Sigh.... "
Rev wants to argue about Wrath's unconvincing words, but it will only make him tired because he doesn't even have strength to talk back at him. He then looked up and calculated that it was at least 2000 feet, falling 11-16 seconds, until the body would reach the surface but since he used Kirpy's trait he step on the wall and jump rushing down, that would reduce to 7 or 9 seconds. Wrath was astonished, never imagined that his young master Rev was that genius.
Shifting his eyes around there are only mana crystals that were brimmed with slight light, he was still thankful that he could see his surroundings other than waking up or landing on a pit and opening the eyes whereas it will only have nothing but a pitch black environment.
Giving an example he sigh and started to walk while touching the wall for a guide, each step he takes, he could hear droplets of water trickled with the sound of puddles which he stepped on. After awhile, he stopped and was amazed for not believing his eyes from what he is seeing right now.
A big pool of pond lake with a lot of mana crystals shines brightly on the sides and at the top, he look at it as it gives a seconds of shiny bright reflections.
Rev slowly walked towards that pond of lake in awe, looking around and Wrath appeared.
" Hm... is this... !? no young master!! don't go near that lake!!-- "
* SHAaaaaaaaaa!! *
" Wha--!! "
