Increasing his mobility, he slashed the incoming slimes and horned rabbits. They were easily defeated, but there were more, he poured mana in his limb to jump stronger, crossing the other side of river which some of the horned rabbits and slimes are still fighting each other.
He joined in that brawl and defeated them all, Rev let out a blow of relief which he didn't at least consumed too much of his mana.
That could only say that he already knew how to conserve his mana, he looked around and used his mana to flow it out as a wavelength to detect monsters, but also revealing his location. There were still horned rabbits and slimes, not that much far so he started to pick up first the core crystals and put on his storage pouch that was gifted as his birthday present from his grandpa.
A storage pouch is mostly around hundred billion gold coins as Rev was surprised about that amount when it was revealed to him. He wasn't sure how his grandpa got that kind of amount, but maybe he thought that his grandpa was just filthy rich.
Rev picked up all of the core crystals and moved to the direction where he felt the same mana essence of slimes and horned rabbits. Besides him Wrath was yawning and thought that it was boring so he went back to his young master's mental world to sleep.
Keeping on running until he feels the mana of the slimes getting closer, he stopped and found his prey he started to defeat all of them one by one. It was an easy opponent, as he was done picking up the core crystals he moved to another place where the horned rabbits presence. Reaching their sight Rev smiled slightly, one by one he defeated them all.
" Phew.... I think I'm done for now, Rah, Orm come out "
* Kirpy!
* Orm!

Aside from Rah who became a bit taller and bigger, almost at eight inches height, but Rev was still a bit surprised at Orm who can already talk, but it's name, supposedly the serpent would just sound in a hissing way. It really opened its mouth to say its own name and probably it can talk a human language soon as it also already reached Rah's height.

One month ago
The egg break in hatches as a bluish serpent was born. Exactly at that Orm the bluish serpent saw the core crystals at Rev's bed and absorb the mana on it.
Rev could feel their mana which their pool increases and means that they got stronger, he keeps on giving core crystals for both of them to absorb. Whenever he goes outside of the manor, finding someone to defeat.
Since both of them formed a pact with Rev they can also now absorb the mana of dead ones without taking out the core crystals. That is one system and components that his emblem can do. As for now he took out the core crystals of horned rabbits and picked up the core crystals of slimes because he wanted to gather them all in one and absorb in one place. That's why he moved from one another place to find more of them.
With a break Rah and Orm run around besides Rev who just sits on a big stone to rest.
" Now I understand why Wrath went back to my mental World to sleep, so he was just bored and knew that there would only be small fries in this mountain to hunt, probably thinking in that way, sigh... I'll just need to hunt more then "
Rev stood up and ask both Rah and Orm to go back in his mental world, the light in his right hand emblem mark faintly vanish and crackles his fingers. He started to move and look around again to hunt some monsters.
He was trying to find a tougher and bigger opponent to defeat and absorb more mana, but all he could see was slimes and horned rabbits, even so if he wanted his mana to increase and making his summoned ones stronger he had no choice but to defeat patiently them all and collect the core crystals to absorb them once he will go back in the manor.
" Phew..... I got a lot of core crystals, but I don't know how much would increase my mana, anyway I'm drenched with sweat after running around I should probably go take a quick dip in the river "
Rev went back to the river where the slimes and horned rabbits fought, then summoned Rah and Orm to play around.
" You can play around but please watch my things, okay? "
Rah and Orm nodded cheerfully, removing his clothing and put down his pouch besides in his shirt. He removed everything aside from his underwear and shorts. He didn't know that in the world he was living in now, would have shorts. It has a different design and fashion compared on earth that he lived in his past but it is still short.
After taking a breather and relax on the river, he went to the dry spot and went back near Rah and Orm who was still playing around. Putting his clothes on, he reached out his pouch and tied on his waist, but he feels like something was off. He then quickly took out some core crystals, and as he suspected there were no mana left and aghast, taking out the reserved red basilisks core crystals that he got as a gift from the soldiers for his birthday, his expression face became more pale.
" Are you kidding me right now... Rah... Orm... who the heck absorbs all of the core crystals in this pouch!? "
* Orm!
Orm admitted immediately, she was really honest not knowing that Rev was infuriated by her actions.
" AHh... My basilisks core crystals... "

Going back again at the manor's archive in infuriated manner Rev sips all of the tea in one go as he remembers that scene in his memory and talks like a drunkard man, even though the tea was not alcohol. Wrath let out a pity sigh who watches his young master in agony that was depressed because his reserve core crystals are already gone.
Well he couldn't do anything about that anymore and decided that he would go outside again to hunt monsters even if they are just low level.
At the time when he was at the mountain, he managed to defeat a horde of horned rabbits and at least fought with vine vipers, defeated them and collected their core crystals.
" Man those vine vipers are a bit dangerous, but it's a disappointment that they were only a few of them, if only there were more of them I could at least train a new spells that I wanted try "
" Well, vine vipers are cold blooded and of course they would only have few of them with the season that we had now "
Amidst in a weather, Rev could only hunt few monsters because of the snowy and cold environment. He did collect a core crystals, but it was only a two handful of hands as he took out his pouch and started to absorb all of their mana. He was hurrying because maybe somehow he feels like Orm would just pop out out of nowhere once she will feel the mana. Which he doesn't want that to happen so he just focused to absorb all of the mana.
With that snowy season and night came he went back to his bedroom then walked towards the opened window, staring at the snow flakes falling outside, he could see the tree that almost all of the leaves would fall off. It reminds him of his grandpa the old knight that adopted him whereas his movements are starting to slow down and his illness is getting worse, he was in his own bedroom, bedridden.
He gritted his teeth slightly in annoyance, that if only humans could only live longer then he would at least spar more with his grandpa and leave the manor with him for having a normal fun in a city. Wrath who is levitating could hear the murmur and can only stare on the tree that his young master was looking at, covered by snow.
He remembers something, Rev sighs and close the window as his melancholy eyes look once more on the tree and said.
" Last leaf huh... that's not funny... "

The day passes fast from what Rev expected, he is already twelve years old, sitting down on a chair, with his head down while clasping his hand together as his bangs covered his eyes. He was in the bedroom, near the bedridden old human, his grandpa that adopted Rev as his grandson.
The room was quiet at that time of noon, and the silence made his grandpa smiled a little and averted his eyes at Rev.
" Rev... "
His grandpa called, but Rev couldn't move, and once again ---
" Rev... look at me, your great grandpa... is still healthy and smiling "
Rev gulped down, but it only makes him nervous and saddened more which his head is still down.
" Grandpa... how can you joke around like that even if you know that you are already in bad situation... "
" Hm... I did that because I want you to look at me and talk about something, and... I guess it works "
Rev puts more pressure in his hands that was still clasping together, he doesn't want to hear anymore words that would make him cry, but he knows that his grandpa doesn't have much more time.

Rev gulped down, once, he don't want to hear it even though he didn't really know what his grandpa meant by that sentence. He could not just face his grandpa properly because he would probably cry, but if he would not do what his grandpa asked he'll regret it. Rev bit his lips and opened his eyes, slowly looked at his grandpa with saddened eyes...
" You really don't want to cry huh... it's already five 4 years since I adopted you and I didn't saw you cry not even once "

Rev suddenly remembered the day when his dad was killed and his mom gave the golden pendant, then run leaving her behind---
" On that village, I did... I cried... when I saw my dad and mom as I turned my back... and left them behind... "

Rev never thought about investigating his parents since he knows that Wrath must have the memories of her mother and maybe even his father and since he will only ask it if he really wanted to know more about his parents.
Now Rev understood why his grandpa was always ignoring the questions that he ask when it comes to his parents and considering Wrath reaction. Rev then thought that his grandpa didn't maybe take a visit nor send a letter to her daughter and his son in law in Dantla village, at least 7-10 years. In conclusion Wrath and the old man Albert, didn't met at all.
