"Shichen—!"
Right after Nana screamed, Kotegawa Yui followed her, crossing her arms over her chest and dropping into the water with a splash, squatting down so that only her head was above the surface, her face completely red.
"We're practically an old married couple at this point, what's there to be shy about..." Shichen teased with a laugh.
"It's different! Everyone's here!"
"Isn't everyone the same right now?"
"That's..."
"Ahaha~ everyone's swimsuits are gone~" Lala giggled carelessly.
"My body's gone too..." Murasame Shizu hugged herself with both arms, muttering with a red face.
Her ghost form was really strange. Right now she was in a "no swimsuit" state, whereas before she'd had a kimono on.
No one knew how she did that.
"Let's hurry up and look for them." Yami's expression stayed calm as she dove straight under.
Shichen glanced at the pair of soft little bare feet vanishing beneath the surface and fell into thought.
Didn't he remember her clothes were something she transformed herself?
Could they even fall off?
"Big sis, let's go together~" Mea cheerfully showed off her body and followed Yami down.
"Mea, don't leave me behind..." Nana pleaded.
"Then hurry up and come over."
"But I..."
"We're all family here, what's there to be embarrassed about?"
"It's not the same!" Nana protested.
To be fair, this wasn't even the first time her swimsuit had come off. And now that her relationship with Shichen had progressed, she wasn't quite as mortified as before.
But everyone around her was bigger than she was; she still didn't dare show herself openly.
Her inferiority complex was too intense.
"Nana is really such a handful~"
Mea's scorpion-braid stretched out, wrapped around her, and dragged her down into the deeper water.
"Then I'll go look too~" Lala flipped over and dove under.
"Lala, wait for me!" Yui covered herself with one arm and paddled after her with the other.
Soon only Shichen and Momo were left.
Reluctantly, Shichen pulled his gaze back. You didn't get to see this kind of scene very often.
He suddenly felt like eating strawberry pudding.
"Brother-in-law, you really seem reluctant to look away," Momo tilted her head up at him with a bright smile.
"Do I?" Shichen immediately tried to school his expression.
"Hmph~ like I don't know you by now?"
"..." Shichen had nothing to say to that.
"Brother-in-law, I can satisfy you too~" Momo said softly.
"You?" Shichen glanced down at the softness squashed against his chest. There was a large patch of snow-white skin, but it was still covered by a pink bikini top.
Under his protection, Momo was the only one completely untouched.
"Brother-in-law~"
She called sweetly, then let go with one hand, reached back, and undid the knot at her back.
Then she shifted away from him just enough to let the bikini top slip off on its own, and immediately hugged him again.
"How's that?" Momo asked, smiling with narrowed eyes.
"Mm. Not bad." Shichen tightened his arm around her waist, his face very serious.
"Heehee~" Momo laughed silly and content. Brother-in-law trying to act all proper was really cute.
The two of them just stayed there in the water without moving. After quite a while, Lala and the others finally found their swimsuits and came back.
They'd been washed pretty far away.
Still, all of them had super eyesight; they could spot them from a long distance.
"Momo! What do you think you're doing?!"
As soon as Nana came back, she saw the way Momo and Shichen were positioned. With Momo's bare back completely exposed like that, did she really have to guess what the front looked like?
"Oh my~ how did my swimsuit end up over here?" Momo made a show of glancing downward, then let go of Shichen, dropped into the water, picked up the bikini top and put it back on.
"Hey! Do you think I'm stupid? You obviously had your swimsuit on just now!"
"Did I? You must have seen it wrong." Momo played dumb.
"I did not see it wrong! Did you two see it, big sis?" Nana turned accusingly.
"Eh~ I wasn't really paying attention," Lala said honestly.
"Big sis!"
"Let's not talk about that. Shichen~ I'm hungry~ go make food~" Lala swam to Shichen's side and clung to his arm, whining.
"No problem, I'll go catch something first."
"I'll go with you!"
"Sure."
"Brother-in-law, I want to go too," Momo raised her hand.
"Alright."
"Brother-in-law, can I come too?" Mea asked.
"...Fine, you can all come," Shichen sighed.
"Yay!"
It really wasn't that many people—just Lala and her two sisters plus Mea.
Shichen took them and teleported directly into deeper waters.
There were no creatures left in the immediate area; the commotion earlier had scared them off long ago.
This time he chose a different spot. Instead of catching slipper lobsters, he went for scampi and brown crabs.
Scampi were satisfying to eat—one tail could practically fill you up. Even with their appetites, two would be plenty, with some crab on the side for flavor.
On the way, Mea swam alongside Momo but didn't immediately start talking.
Only when Shichen was focused on grabbing a scampi did Mea drift closer to Momo.
"Momo, can I ask you for a favor?"
"A favor? Is it about what you wanted to prove last night?"
"Mm, I want that too. But this is something else," Mea floated with her hands behind her back, smiling faintly.
"Something else?" Momo looked at her in puzzlement.
"It's nothing complicated. Could you let me touch my forehead to yours?" Mea pressed her palms together and asked earnestly.
"Foreheads?" Momo gave her a strange look.
"Don't misunderstand. I'm a normal girl, and I like brother-in-law too."
"Mm... alright," Momo nodded.
"Thank you~"
Mea was thrilled. She swam up close, didn't even hug her, just tilted her head and touched her forehead lightly to Momo's.
"Hm?"
In that instant, Momo suddenly jerked back from Mea. She didn't know why, but it felt like she'd just been seen through completely.
Not physically—but in her heart.
"Mea, you...?" Momo stared at her uncertainly.
Could this be... Mea's ability?

"Heehee~ thanks, Momo~" Mea just blushed and thanked her, then swam off toward Nana.

"I'm fine~" Mea shook her head cheerfully.
"Really? Why are you grinning like that then?"
"Heehee~ because I'm really happy."
"What did you find out from Momo?" Nana asked, curious. Mea's little "plan" had been shared with her from the start.
"Something pretty amazing~" Mea patted her cheeks, her tone a little odd.
"Pretty amazing? So Momo has been doing all sorts of things with him behind my back!" Nana gritted her teeth.
"What did they do?"
"For example..." Mea moved in close and whispered a few words in Nana's ear.
"Wait!"
Nana immediately stopped her, stammering in embarrassment, "You don't need to tell me that, I know."
"Huh? You already know? Aren't you curious at all?"
"Wh–what's there to be curious about!" Nana's whole face flushed bright red.
"I'm super curious~ I really want to know what it tastes like~" Mea licked her lips, full of anticipation.
"Stop that! Don't copy her!" Nana yelped.
"But I am curious~"
"This isn't something you need to be curious about!"
"Ehh~"
"Don't forget: you haven't even proven the whole 'mutual feelings' thing with him yet. There's no need to be curious about that stuff." Nana said seriously.
"But if we do prove it, wouldn't that mean we can put it into practice?"
"P–put it into practice? Absolutely not!" Nana cut her off at once.
"Eh? Why not?"
"Just no, alright!"
"Why not? Don't tell me you want to be first?" Mea tilted her head.
"I so do not want to be first! What's so good about it anyway?" Nana shot back.
"How do you know if you don't try it~"
"It's definitely not good! Don't you dare let Momo lead you astray!"
"Mm... okay then." Mea's eyes turned a little, then she agreed.
"That's better." Nana let out a breath of relief.
She didn't notice at all that Mea's gaze had already drifted toward Shichen, full of expectation.
If Nana wouldn't allow it, she'd just go about it secretly.
She wanted to experience every single thing Momo had been through with him.
