Kaden was sitting cross-legged in the groundless space of the dungeon.
On his lap, little Rory slept peacefully, a happy smile on her face, clearly thrilled to have reunited with her master.
Well, that's what she thought, and Kaden had decided to keep it that way.
He couldn't continue to act like that bastard, so he had to slowly and carefully shift his behavior without making it suspicious.
And if it ever got too weird? He'd just blame it on the side effects of taking over the body.

'But well… I don't mind if she finds out and kills me, huh. I don't mind having some illusion skills,' Kaden added in his mind with a crooked smile.
He stayed in that position without moving, unwilling to disturb little Rory, and as he lowered his head to look at her, he found her undeniably cute.
"Her cuteness is almost at the level of my sister's. Incredible. Never thought that was possible," Kaden muttered as he slowly pinched little Rory's cheeks.
