Author's POV
The student was stunned. He had never seen someone walk with such authority and a dangerous aura around him.
Even his father, who was a retired officer, didn't carry this kind of aura.
He sneaked a glance at the man beside him. He was dressed in black, wearing a mask and sunglasses, but still impossible to ignore. His presence alone made it hard to breathe.
'Wasn't Seraphina an orphan? Then who is this guy?' the student wondered, but didn't dare to ask.
He quietly led the man and the two others behind him through the corridor toward the dean's office.
The student was still in his thoughts, but froze at the voice coming from inside the dean's office.
Even with the door closed, Asher's words rang out like thunder.
"I want the hand that hit my sister!"
The boy turned to Alistair, his legs trembling slightly. "T–that voice… It's Asher Lancaster."
Alistair didn't respond. His jaw tightened, his brows furrowed, and his hands were already clenched into fists.
