Chapter 57 - The Miracle of Love

The Loneliness Hidden Behind Fame

Because of the thick clouds spread across the sky, no one noticed when the afternoon slowly slipped into the embrace of evening.

The golden sunlight had disappeared behind the clouds, and the entire city seemed bathed in a soft, silvery haze.

The two of them were already on their way to a new destination.

The car moved smoothly along the quiet roads.

Ramish sat by the window, silently watching the scenery outside. Rows of trees, towering buildings, and the cloud-covered sky drifted past his eyes one after another.

But Richer's attention was fixed on a completely different view.

He was watching Ramish.

After a few moments, Richer quietly moved closer and rested his head against Ramish's shoulder.

Ramish was startled for a brief second, but a gentle smile soon appeared on his lips. Without thinking, he wrapped an arm around Richer and drew him into his embrace.

Richer closed his eyes comfortably.

After a while, he looked toward the manager and asked,

"Where are we going?"

The manager smiled.

"Sir, we're heading to Louvre Abu Dhabi."

He continued,

"It's a world-class museum located by the sea. Its famous dome allows sunlight to filter through in a way that resembles drops of light falling like rain. It houses artworks and historical treasures from different civilizations, cultures, and eras. It's a place where history comes alive."

A spark of excitement appeared in Richer's eyes.

"Then this is going to be interesting," he said with a smile. "We'll get another chance to witness history with our own eyes. What do you think, Ramish?"

Ramish smiled back.

"Of course. I'm looking forward to it as well."

Richer nodded contentedly and slowly closed his eyes once more, as though Ramish's presence had given him a peace he had spent years searching for.

Ramish quietly watched him.

The soft smile resting on Richer's face looked even more beautiful beneath the dim light inside the car.

Almost unconsciously, Ramish began running his fingers through his hair.

The vehicle continued toward its destination.

Outside, the cloud-covered evening was gradually deepening.

Inside, however, a different kind of calm had settled.

There was no hurry.

No restlessness.

Only two hearts quietly enjoying each other's presence, finding love even within silence itself.

After a few moments, Ramish glanced out the window again.

Lights had begun to appear along the roadside, glowing warmly against the approaching dusk.

Then he looked back at Richer.

The soft evening light filtered through the clouds and rested gently upon his face.

For a moment, Ramish simply watched him.

Then he smiled.

"Today, your face seems brighter than the evening itself. Is there a special reason behind that glow?"

Richer let out a soft laugh.

"It's the effect of your company."

He looked into Ramish's eyes and continued,

"My shining face is proof that I've started glowing because of being with you."

A warmth immediately spread across Ramish's features.

In a quiet voice, he replied,

"My glow also comes from you, Richer.

Just as the moon shines because of the sun's light, I shine because of the light of your love."

The smile on Richer's lips slowly faded.

Silence settled over him.

A shadow of emotion flickered across his eyes as he looked away toward the darkening sky beyond the window.

A shadow of sadness suddenly appeared in Richer's eyes.

The change was so unexpected that Ramish immediately noticed it. The smile on his own face faded as he looked at Richer with concern.

"Richer…" he said softly, "what is it? I don't think I've ever seen this kind of sadness on your face before."

Richer let out a slow breath and turned his gaze toward the window. Beyond the glass, the city lights were beginning to awaken beneath the cloud-covered evening sky.

"Ramish…" he began quietly, "the world knows me as a shining star.

But my loneliness...

The emptiness inside me...

No one ever truly knew about it."

Silence settled inside the car.

Ramish's eyes widened slightly. His fingers, which had been gently running through Richer's hair, came to a stop.

A trace of pain entered Richer's voice.

"I used to stand on the balcony of my house for hours, watching the birds flying freely across the sky.

Their freedom fascinated me.

And every time I saw them, I wished I could be like them.

Free to go wherever my heart desired.

Free to stay wherever I wanted.

I wanted to live my life openly and honestly...

But it never seemed possible."

He paused and drew a deep breath.

"To tell you the truth, somewhere beneath the flashing lights of cameras and the endless attention...

I lost myself.

The real me disappeared."

Ramish felt his heart tighten.

For the first time, he was seeing the hidden side of the man the world admired.

After a brief silence, Richer continued.

"And then...

you came into my life.

Somehow, without even realizing it, I started learning how to live again."

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"I didn't know whether it was love or not.

I only knew that I liked seeing you.

Your presence began filling the emptiness inside me.

The loneliness that had lived with me for years suddenly felt less heavy.

Every night, I found myself waiting for you.

Waiting for your arrival.

Waiting for your voice."

His eyes shimmered with unshed tears.

"I tried so many times to keep my distance.

I told myself I shouldn't get attached.

But whenever you appeared...

I could never bring myself to push you away."

His voice softened.

"And now...

when I look at you and see those silent dreams of mine finally coming true...

I feel like the luckiest person in the world.

Because you came into my life.

And you taught me how to live."

Ramish's own eyes had become moist.

Without saying a word, he reached for Richer's hand and held it tightly between both of his.

"Richer..."

His voice was filled with emotion.

"Thank you for trusting me with your heart.

I'm glad you felt I was worthy of hearing this."

He gently squeezed Richer's hand.

"I never imagined you had carried so much loneliness inside you.

Most people would never believe that someone as famous as you could feel so alone."

His gaze softened.

"But you're not alone anymore.

I'm here.

And as long as I'm beside you, I want you to live exactly the way your heart desires.

Do the things you love.

Chase the dreams you once thought were impossible.

Because this life belongs to you.

And you deserve to live it fully."

Richer slowly turned to look at him.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Yet his eyes revealed everything—gratitude, affection, peace, and a happiness he had not felt in years.

Outside, the evening sky remained hidden behind drifting clouds.

Inside the car, however, something beautiful had changed.

As the vehicle continued toward its destination, two hearts sat side by side—no longer hiding their loneliness, no longer afraid of their dreams.

For the first time, they had opened every door of their souls to each other, and in that quiet moment, they found a home within one another.
