The location was Little Garden's Fifth Outer Layer, 26745 Outer Gate, the eighty-eighth branch of 'Thousand Eyes.'

26745 Outer Gate was overseen by Shiroyasha, the Layer Ruler residing above. It was also the headquarters of 'Perseus,' another commonality under 'Thousand Eyes.'

In a room specially prepared for guests, Azi Dahaka sat idly in a chair, swinging her legs.

Following Canaria's advice, she had finally hidden her horns and tail.

"Aaaaaah, this is so boring. Why isn't that lousy commonality's leader back yet?"

"Seize her, my lady."

"Hmm…"

Azi tilted her head, a mischievous glint in her eyes. She was, after all, a lawless Demon Lord.

Just as she was about to act, a 'Perseus' knight entered.

"Esteemed guests, my apologies for the wait. The leader has returned and is waiting for you in the main hall." The knight bowed respectfully, gesturing for them to proceed.

"Ah, finally. The leader of a mere Fifth Outer Layer commonality is quite the diva."

Azi said, leaping gracefully from her chair. Canaria followed respectfully as they left the room.

In the 'Perseus' headquarters' main hall, Laius sat on a high throne, idly tapping the armrest. Beside him stood the completely petrified Leticia.

"Useless fools! Can't even handle a simple delay? I had to come back myself." Grumbling at his subordinates, Laius was still irritated about losing the chance with the delightful Kuro Usagi.

Almost… almost had that rabbit. This is infuriating.

"My lord… it's not that we didn't try to delay, but those two guests were very forceful. They insisted on seeing you immediately." A knight said wryly.

"Tch, really…" Laius frowned, asking, "Do you know who they are?"

"Not really…" The knight frowned. "The person who received the goods only said they were from the Fourth Outer Layer, likely from a commonality there."

"The Fourth Outer Layer? That's 'Thousand Eyes' territory. Let's see who these people are." Laius, unfazed by the possibility of them being from a Fourth Outer Layer commonality, said proudly.

When the Fourth Outer Layer shopkeeper arrived with the others to meet Azi and Canaria, Azi had already concealed her striking features.

Because of this, the shopkeeper didn't dare say anything. He couldn't point at Azi and say, "This is a pure-blooded dragon," could he?

The knight, unaware of anything, led the two women to the Fifth Outer Layer.

This led Laius to believe that these "esteemed guests" were merely members of some self-important commonality from the Fourth Outer Layer.

Backed by 'Thousand Eyes,' he didn't take this meeting seriously.

"Well, where's my exclusive maid?"

Azi asked upon entering, her cute appearance instantly piquing Laius's interest.

Though he wasn't interested in young girls, Laius had to admit that she was even more stunning than Leticia.

Such a girl would be an even more sought-after commodity!

Laius was even more interested in the cold woman behind the petite girl. He'd seen many ice queens, but he'd never encountered someone so chilling, someone whose gaze felt like it could freeze his eyes.

"Ooh, such a beauty! Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" Laius exclaimed dramatically, scolding his subordinates.

The knights, knowing their leader's temperament, could only smile wryly.

"You're the leader here?"

Azi raised an eyebrow at Laius's words, unfazed. She didn't consider him a threat; she wouldn't be angered by an ant.

Canaria remained expressionless, her thoughts unreadable.

"Ahem, as you can see, I'm the master of 'Perseus.'"

Laius said smugly, giving a charming smile.

"I hear you're willing to pay a hundredfold price for this little vampire."

"That's right. Hand her over."

"With all due respect, a hundredfold price is exorbitant. Can your commonality really afford that?"

Laius said uncertainly. Azi said impatiently,

"Money is no object. It's meaningless to me."

If Azi sold all her possessions, it would be enough to drive anyone to despair. Gold was just something shiny and pleasing to her eyes.

A hundredfold? Even a thousandfold wouldn't faze her.

"Aaaaaah, don't rush. I'm not questioning your ability to pay, but I've had another idea. I won't sell this little vampire for money. I'll make an exchange."

"Exchange?"

Azi paused, not understanding.

"That's right, an exchange. How about your attendant?"

Laius openly revealed his intentions, pointing at Canaria.

"Ha… you want her?"

Azi paused, then laughed.

Confused by her laughter, Laius scratched his head.

"Well, do you accept or not? Don't worry, I'll take good care of her. Three meals, a collar, and nightly affection."

"Accept… why not…? Except…"

Azi stopped laughing, tilting her head, staring at Laius, a wicked smile spreading across her lips.

"I'm afraid you won't live to enjoy it."
