Kuro Usagi didn't want a direct confrontation. 'Perseus' was under Thousand Eyes; any conflict would put Shiroyasha in a difficult position.
But when she heard they were selling Leticia outside Little Garden, she couldn't remain seated.
"What's going on?! Vampires… 'Little Garden Knights' can only bathe in the sun within Little Garden! How can they take her outside…?!"
"Outsiders should stay out of this! This is our leader's decision!" A knight shouted at the enraged Kuro Usagi, using his winged boots to fly into the air.
"Damn it! Even so, you barge into another commonality's territory without an apology! Aren't you ashamed to disgrace your banner?!" Kuro Usagi shouted again, as 'Perseus' prepared to leave.
"Humph, showing respect to a mere 'No Name' would disgrace our banner!"
"Mere 'No Name,' don't interfere, or you'll die under our banner!"
"Th-this is outrageous!" This blatant insult finally enraged Kuro Usagi. Her black hair transformed into a faint crimson, billowing upward, intimidating her enemies.
Kuro Usagi raised her right arm. A sharp, air-splitting sound echoed through the sky. A lightning-like explosion dominated the area, and in her right hand, she held a lightning-bright lance.
"Your disrespect towards 'No Name' will be washed away with your blood!"
"Wh-what?! How can a lower-level commonality possess a weapon with divinity?"
"Don't panic. It's impossible. It must be a fake!"
Panic only lasted a moment among the knights, who quickly reformed their formation.
"Since your dog eyes can't tell the difference, use your bodies to… Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"
Just as the furious Kuro Usagi was about to throw her Indra Lance, a hand reached from behind, grabbing her ear and lifting her into the air.
"Hey, what's the meaning of this? You're enjoying yourselves while we're being ignored," Arthas said helplessly.
"You don't want a conflict with Shiroyasha, or even Thousand Eyes, do you? They're a commonality under Thousand Eyes."
"Aaaaaah! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Even if Arthas-sama says that, these rude brutes are going too far!" Kuro Usagi cried out, her legs kicking helplessly in the air.
"Ah, that's true. I wanted to fight, but unfortunately, they all ran away just now." Sakamaki Izayoi's voice came from the side, pointing to the empty space before them.
"Wh… what? An invisible Gift?"
Kuro Usagi, put down with a thud, looked dejected.
"Hmm… it seems to be an invisible Gift."
Arthas nodded slightly. He had intended to stop them, but they vanished instantly.
After a moment, he couldn't even sense their presence and could only give up.
"That's good. We can reclaim Leticia through proper channels. Kuro Usagi, you didn't want a direct conflict, did you? That's why you stopped me and Sakamaki Izayoi."
Arthas said, and Kuro Usagi nodded slightly. She truly didn't want that, but their words had enraged her, causing her to act rashly.
"No Name is a weak commonality without its own banner or name. We're weak, looked down upon, and underestimated. But because of that, it's also advantageous."
Arthas said, a confident smile spreading across his face.
"Because no one will suspect a commonality as insignificant as ours. This means a well-timed, fatal blow will leave them with an unforgettable memory."
"Fatal… blow?"
Kuro Usagi paused, not understanding.
"Their commonality is called 'Perseus,' right? Let them become the stepping stone for No Name's ascension to the First Outer Layer!"
Saying this coldly, Arthas stepped into the night, leaving a shocked and speechless Kuro Usagi behind.
"Eh… eh? Eh?!"
After a long moment, Kuro Usagi finally understood.
"Th… the First Outer Layer?! That… that's…"
"What are you stunned about? Aren't you fired up, Kuro Usagi? Haha! The First Outer Layer, what a grand goal! It suits me perfectly! Let's make No Name stand proudly in the First Outer Layer of Little Garden!"
Sakamaki Izayoi said excitedly, chasing after Arthas.
They needed to get Leticia back from Shiroyasha and 'Perseus' immediately.
"Let's go, Kuro Usagi. Let's go get our companion!"
Kudou Asuka pulled Kuro Usagi's arm. Finally recovering from her shock, Kuro Usagi nodded firmly.
"Yes… let's get our companion back!"
At the Thousand Eyes branch office, the same impassive clerk stood before them.
"I've been expecting you. The manager and Laius-sama are waiting inside." The clerk nodded.
"Oh, they seem confident. They completely underestimated us," Sakamaki Izayoi muttered, and the four entered.
"Oh, No Name came. Faster than expected." Laius exclaimed upon seeing Kuro Usagi.
"Whoa, a rabbit! Wow, it's my first time seeing a real one! I've heard rumors, but I didn't expect to find one in the East District! That miniskirt and stockings are quite sexy! Hey, come work for us. I'll provide three meals, a collar, and nightly affection!"
Laius openly displayed his lecherous nature, his gaze lingering on Kuro Usagi as if he wanted to lick her entire body.
This rudeness caused Shiroyasha to frown, but she could do nothing about him; he was, after all, a fellow commonality member.
