Kuro Usagi and the others probably wouldn't notice anything… he'd handled it perfectly.
Leaving Leticia to rest in the living room, Sakamaki Izayoi, Kuro Usagi, and Arthas went to another room, where Arthas learned the girl's identity.
Leticia was a former companion of No Name, abducted during the Demon Lord's attack and lost. He hadn't expected to see her again like this.
More details would have to wait until Leticia woke up. Arthas breathed a sigh of relief; it seemed he'd gotten away with it.
By the time Leticia opened her eyes and regained consciousness, it was completely dark outside.
When did I fall asleep? She couldn't remember, only feeling incredibly fatigued… then she vaguely drifted off.
But even now, she felt a lingering weariness. Her body felt intensely hot, as if burning, and she sensed a strange scent on herself.
As a vampire, Leticia knew what it was: the lingering scent of a man, heavy with lust.
Had something happened to her? She couldn't remember… not even how she'd fallen unconscious.
She vaguely recalled… confronting that powerful, mysterious man, and then…
Her memory ended abruptly, and Leticia sat up sharply.
"Leticia-sama, you're awake?"
A gasp came from beside her, followed by a soft body pressing against her, sobbing.
"Kuro… Kuro Usagi?"
The weariness hadn't completely subsided; Leticia spoke weakly, causing Kuro Usagi further concern.
"Are you alright, Leticia-sama?"
"I'm fine. I'm just a little disoriented from waking up."
Night had fallen, but because Leticia was awake, the important members of No Name gathered.
This consisted of Arthas, Sakamaki Izayoi, Kudou, and Kuro Usagi.
Yō was injured and couldn't come, and Jin was asleep.
Sakamaki Izayoi stood sleepily in the corner, clearly unwilling to be there. Arthas sat nervously on the sofa, avoiding eye contact with Leticia, who kept staring at him, making him uncomfortable. Kudou stood before Sakamaki Izayoi, while Kuro Usagi sat opposite Arthas, next to the event's protagonist: the suddenly-appeared loli vampire.
"Well… where should we begin? Kuro Usagi, your black tea is still as excellent as ever."
Putting down her teacup, Leticia smiled slightly at Kuro Usagi.
"Leticia-sama… it's wonderful to have you back."
"Don't call me 'sama.' I'm someone else's possession now. As a 'Little Garden Noble,' showing respect to an object is laughable." Leticia smiled wryly, correcting the honorific.
"How could… how could Leticia-sama become an 'object'?" Kuro Usagi said incredulously.
Leticia smiled wryly, saying nothing, merely taking a sip of tea.
Kuro Usagi looked embarrassed, then stammered.
"Th-then, Leticia-sama, why did you come to see us?"
Kuro Usagi quickly changed the subject. Leticia belonged to someone else, and her arrival without her owner's permission was incredibly risky.
There must be an important reason for her visit.
Leticia shook her head wryly.
"It's not really about anything. I just wanted to see how strong the reborn commonality is. And I don't know how to face Jin. Because of me, your companions were injured."
Kuro Usagi finally understood that Leticia was involved in the Oni-fication of the trees.
"I intended to watch the newcomers' strength from afar, but this guy caught me,"
Leticia sighed, her gaze fixed on Arthas, who awkwardly looked away.
Why is he avoiding my gaze? It was an embarrassing misunderstanding… but just a misunderstanding. Is he still angry?
Considering her actions, Leticia felt somewhat disheartened; her behavior had been unreasonable.
"I apologize, Arthas-sama. I truly didn't expect you to be a member of No Name. But even so, I need to understand something. Frankly, No Name is incredibly weak, with no future prospects. With your strength, you could thrive anywhere. Why did you choose No Name?"
"Still questioning my motives?"
Arthas rubbed his nose, unsure how to answer.
The truth was more complicated: he'd arrived in this strange world with no idea what to do, feeling lost and confused. Then he saw Kuro Usagi and was reminded of Hestia, and somehow ended up joining?
That sounds even more suspicious… and explaining Hestia would be even more troublesome.
"Leticia-sama, don't be like that. Arthas-sama was summoned by me! Although his strength is far beyond my expectations."
Kuro Usagi said, and Leticia smiled wryly.
Far beyond expectations. His strength was exceptional for the Seventh Outer Layer.
Though she had lost her power and divinity, Leticia's judgment remained sharp. She clearly saw Arthas's strength, understanding his level.
It was a power beyond Kuro Usagi and the others' imagination, comparable to her own strength in her prime. In her prime, she might have been able to defeat him.
Of course, these were speculations and assumptions. Leticia didn't know Arthas's fighting style or what trump cards he held.
