Emerald thrashes around till she comes face to face with Kieran. She asks what he's doing there. He tells her he got worried when she didn't return as planned. She tells him the plan would take longer than she expected. She even tells him she's considering leaving because she can't bear Rick anymore.
Kieran tells her he'll support whatever decision she makes. She looks around and tells him it's not safe and he should get going but remain in position so she'd still be able to reach him when she finally succeeded. Kieran is in the middle of telling her to stay safe when Emerald hears Rick's voice asking who's there.
Middle
Emerald motions for Kieran to be quiet then she comes out of the bushes. Rick asks her what she was doing and she tells him she needed a walk and asks if he was there to instigate her further. Rick sighs and begins talking, he apologises for his actions the previous night. Emerald is a bit taken aback but she's still nervous because of Kieran in the bushes.
