I shook my head and put that thought in the back of my mind. Kyle couldn't help her against a student anyway.
Finally, her opponent entered the arena.
She was Alexia, the red mermaid I met on the ship. She entered the arena riding a small wave of water. That was supposed to be her last fight after she lost against a student.
A few moments later, the fight started.
We all closed our ears as Alexia opened her mouth.

All of a sudden, the sound was cut off.

"They cut it off faster this time."
"Yeah, her sound affinity is really problematic."
