The other three seemed a bit shocked yet steady.
"Marco? What happened?" Raizel asked quickly.
"You know the reason already. I will take care of the matter," Marco answered, steady eyes and expression.
"Impossible. I can't let you take care of the matter in this state. You can't defeat a sacred spirit yet," Raizel objected, seeming a bit worried.
"I can. Just let me do it. Do you want me to join your journey just to stand and watch?" Marco replied.
"But…" Raizel stopped as Aizis wanted to interfere.
"Let him do it, Raizel," Aizis spoke up.
"I'm pretty sure he can actually do it. Just have faith in him," he added.
"But Aizis, he's not ready yet. I don't see any way for him to defeat a sacred spirit," Raizel replied with a bit of desperation in his voice.
Aizis smiled a bit in reply—a smile carrying a message of assurance.
"All right, I will believe that you can do it, Marco," Raizel said, taking a casual breath afterward.
Afterward, Raizel canceled the magic portal as Marco drew a magic portal for himself—a purple one.
Marco quickly entered the portal, and it disappeared right after that.
As Marco left the place, the other three proceeded to leave as well, all of them drawing their own magic circles and disappearing from there, without leaving any more words after Marco's departure.
As Marco disappeared, he appeared in the Secretive World. It was the middle of the Secretive World—a huge open field filled with bubbles floating around.
"The Secretive World, huh?" Marco spoke up, smiling a bit.
Afterward, within a few moments, a familiar face appeared there with a flash of light.
It was Alphabed in a dark-red long coat.
"You're… Alphabed?" Marco asked, his voice containing some traces of wonder and question.
"Yes, mister. I'm the Alphabed you know. I'm pretty sure you're aware of the presence of a sacred spirit," Alphabed replied.
"Yes, I know. How's everything going?" Marco asked.
"The sacred spirit currently resides in this land, but I'm not sure about their location," Alphabed replied.
"It's fine. I will find him myself," Marco said, smiling a gentle smile toward Alphabed.
A huge force suddenly appeared in front of them—a force that caused a mini quake around the Secretive World.
The magic power caused a storm as it surged around the sacred spirit.
The person was a woman with long deep red hair. She was beautiful and adorable as she smiled toward Marco. Her eyes were glowing with bright blue light. She wore a long gown that covered her completely except for her face. Her physical age didn't seem to be more than 20. Her smile was beautiful enough to easily attract someone. Innocence and adoration appeared in her face and smile.
As soon as she appeared, Alphabed instantly teleported away, leaving a flash of light behind.
"I wasn't expecting a young girl to be a sacred spirit," Marco said.
"That smile seems to be a toll attraction coming from your lips. Don't you think so?" he added.
"But I'm afraid the smile might be a dangerous piece of poison beneath your external face," he concluded.
"My smile is part of my regular expression," the girl replied.
"It's an honor for me to meet you, Mr. Marco," she added.
Marco raised his brow at her sudden respectful tone—it sounded pretty surprising to him.
"It's my honor to meet a sacred spirit while being a mere mortal. Will I have the honor to know the reason for your presence in the Secretive World?" Marco asked.
"I, Lumisha, can be anywhere I want according to my free will. But right now, I'm here to eliminate the strange presence," Lumisha replied.
"Raizel, huh? Looks like the sacred spirits are really desperate to kill him," Marco said, smiling a bit afterward.
"It turns out to be our job to do so. The sacred spirits and the supreme rulers are eternal enemies. Millions of years have passed since the beginning of the war between these two supreme forces," Lumisha said.
"But it looks like the war is going to reach a conclusion this time," she added.
"And that's why I'm here—to put an end to the greatest supreme ruler, Raizel," she concluded with a smile.
"It looks like I'm going to get in your way now. After all, I decided to be his comrade. I just can't let him die," Marco replied.
"Why would a true spirit such as yourself want to help him?" Lumisha asked out of curiosity.
Marco smiled a bit at her words.
"A true spirit, huh. That's interesting," Marco said, smiling.
"But I don't think it matters right now. Looks like your time has come to bypass me in order to kill Raizel," Marco added.
"I can't go back. It's impossible for me to return without destroying him," Lumisha replied.
"Even if I do, I will be killed by my superior sacred spirit. I can't deny their order, after all," she added.
"It's a do-or-die game for a middle-class sacred spirit like me," she concluded, her voice a bit broken.
Marco smiled a bit—a smile layered with mystery and suspense.
"I wanted to live a bit longer, but… it's impossible when I have no way to run from this fate," Lumisha continued, her expression sad and broken.
"So what do you want me to do? Let you go ahead and kill Raizel?" Marco asked.
Lumisha slightly bowed her head forward and smiled a bit, placing her hand on her chest in a sincere, respectful way—a polite greeting to a guest.
"I would like to invite Mr. Marco, a true spirit, to join us instead," Lumisha spoke with a gentle smile.
Lumisha smiled again after her words. She blushed as she stared toward Marco.
"I've fallen in love with my honorable true spirit. I would love to be with him," Lumisha added, continuously blushing.
While Lumisha was speaking, Marco didn't express any emotion. He smiled after her words.
Lumisha stepped toward Marco slowly and raised her hand toward him.
"Take my hand and come with me. I will do anything for you—and you," Lumisha said, slowly and gently.
Marco didn't reply for some moments, then raised his hand toward Lumisha's.
As soon as he was about to grab her hand, his hand released a lightning storm from within.
Startled by the sudden lightning, Lumisha stepped back in fear. Marco smiled a bit, just like before, and spoke:
"Can you shake my hand in this state?"
"You can't. You never will," he added.
"Just how much do you actually know about me? Just my title—true spirit?" he took a breath.
"A little false act like yours can never deceive me, Lumisha," he concluded.
