"You're here to register for the Adventurer's Guild? Do you know what kind of place this is?"
The receptionist that was behind the counter looked at me with a strange look after I came over, but I just firmly said, "That's right, I'm here to register."
In the end, there were some people on the side that suddenly said, "This isn't a place for kids like you. You shouldn't mess around in a place like this."
Though they said this in a gruff voice, the way that they said it was as if they were showing concern. Even their faces made them seem like thugs since they were rough looking guys.
At the same time, I could feel a trace of envy that was in their voices when they said this, so it wasn't as if they were completely looking out for me.
But still I said, "Thank you for your concern, but I'm certain that I want to register as an adventurer."
