Harry chuckled a little. "Is it safe for me to assume that she is now your wife?"

"Indeed, she is!" Grogik said, his voice booming with happiness as he stood up, his massive frame almost touching the roof of the tent. "Best thing that's ever happened to me, she is."

"Congratulations, then," Harry said, a genuine smile on his own face. "I suppose I shall see you in two weeks' time, Grogik." And with that, he apparated away from the mobile camping grounds, probably scaring the absolute crap out of the big Skelliger.

One Week Later

Harry was watching, with a great deal of amusement, as a lone huntress was fruitlessly shooting arrow after arrow into the thick, scaly side of one of his White Dragons, to absolutely no avail. He had already, telepathically, warned the dragon not to do any actual, serious harm to the woman, but from the increasingly annoyed expression on the said dragon's face, it might not be too much longer before it succumbed to its more base, predatory desires and simply ate her. Knowing this, Harry decided it was probably time to step in. He casually walked near the woman, who was hiding, rather poorly, behind a large tree.

"You know," Harry pointed out, his voice calm and conversational, "you're not actually damaging him at all. You're really just making him more and more annoyed with you."

The woman, startled by his sudden appearance, jumped in fright before turning and glaring at him, her bow still held at the ready. "Be quiet and get down before it attacks you, you idiot!" she hissed at him, her voice a low, urgent whisper.

Harry looked the woman over. She looked very fit, very capable, and although she was covered from head to toe in thick, practical furs to protect herself from the biting cold, Harry could tell that she had quite a bit of lean, powerful muscle on her. She had dirty blonde, almost light brown hair, braided tightly to frame her rather sharp, angular face. He gave her a single, raised eyebrow.

"Unlikely," Harry said, as he looked at the dragon, which was now glaring in their general direction, a low, ominous rumble coming from its chest. "Go back home," Harry sent the thought to the dragon, his mental voice firm. "Eat some food and cool off a bit."

The dragon let out another low rumble from its chest, this one more of a grudging acknowledgement, before it raised its massive, feathery wings and, with a powerful downbeat, pushed up off the ground and into the air. It then flew back in the direction of Harry's new settlement.

He watched as the woman looked up at the magnificent dragon flying away, a look of pure, unadulterated awe on her face, before she turned back to him, her expression quickly shifting back to one of deep suspicion.

"How… how did you do that?" she asked, her voice accusatory. "Are you some kind of sorcerer?"

Harry just stared back at her, his expression one of amused indifference. "I am indeed," he said. "And you are?"

"Merri," she responded back, her eyes still narrowed suspiciously at him. "And I've never heard of a sorcerer that could control dragons before," she said, her tone challenging.

Harry just started walking, and after a moment's hesitation, Merri followed, keeping pace just to his left, her hand never straying far from the hilt of her hunting knife.

"Well, I am not most sorcerers," Harry said, his voice still casual. "I am, not to brag, of course, quite a bit more powerful. And what about yourself, Merri? It's rather rare to see a half-elf this far North."

Merri snorted in return. "You must be new around here then," she said, a hint of a smirk on her lips. "There are plenty of half-elves, and other so-called 'outcasts', who live up here."

Harry's eyebrows scrunched up in thought. He had not, in his limited travels, encountered that many half-elves or other non-human outcasts here in the Far North yet, but it wasn't like he had been actively looking for them, or for anyone, for that matter.

"I had not noticed any other settled populations within the Far North," Harry admitted honestly.

"We're mostly settled up in the Dragon Mountains," Merri explained, seeming to relax a little. "And we venture down into the Far North for hunting and trapping."

Harry nodded. He had never spent much time exploring the vast, treacherous Dragon Mountains themselves, though he supposed there were probably hidden valleys and sheltered spaces in certain parts that were big enough for small, secluded settlements.

"Fascinating," Harry said, as they finally stepped into the vast, magically-warmed clearing and began to approach his own, still-under-construction settlement. After a few more moments of silent walking, he looked back to see Merri completely frozen in place, her mouth hanging slightly open in shock as she stared at his partially created, and utterly unique, city.

"What… what is this place?" she asked quietly, her voice filled with a sense of wonder he hadn't heard from her yet.

"It's a new city," Harry explained, a hint of pride in his own voice. "A city I am making for all people to be able to live in, and to enjoy, in peace and prosperity. And by now, you should have also noticed the significant rise in temperature as well. That's to make it more comfortable, more… livable, here in the North. The outer walls, at the moment, are made of solid, enchanted stone, as they were easy enough to conjure. The homes, the other buildings, and the central tower, however, are being made from a multitude of different, unique materials. Do you like it?"

"It's… it's magnificent," she said, her voice a soft, awestruck whisper as she finally started walking again, rejoining him as they got closer to the city's entrance. "It must be even bigger than Novigrad."

"In sheer, physical size, yes, it is," Harry confirmed. "However, it currently can only house about three-quarters of the number of people as Novigrad. The standard houses I have made are significantly bigger, more spacious, to help promote a higher, more comfortable standard of living for everyone." Harry said to her, as they finally walked through the partially completed, but already impressive, gates of his new city.
