Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Desire or Divine

In the lush kingdom of flower or Florapetalia , where the mountains kissed the clouds and rivers danced through emerald valleys, lived Princess Marilyn—the second crown princess. Born not to rule but to adorn the court with grace and wit, she bore no crown of destiny. Yet fate wove her into the very threads of two kingdoms.

She was betrothed from a young age to Prince George's of Thornwick , a neighboring kingdom—a match forged from political interest and tempered by youthful passion. George was everything her heart once fluttered for: bold, intelligent, a spark that ignited something fierce in her. But as the years passed, the embers of his affection flickered uncertainly. He was often cold, distracted by affairs of war and court, and left her craving a closeness he rarely offered.

Then came Prince Thidor of Thrymrhold, a man forged from kindness, nobility, and unwavering presence. He arrived in Elarion with his kingdom's envoy, bearing a message of peace—and a heart that fell, openly and divinely, for Marilyn. Unlike George's storm, Thidor was a calm river, constant and true. He admired her not just as a woman, but as a soul. He saw her, truly saw her, and in his gaze she felt whole.

Thidor dared what others wouldn't. He laid his heart before her, even going so far as to offer his own claim to the Thrymrhold crown if she would only choose him. "I would give up my birthright, Marilyn," he said beneath the moonlit garden. "Not for power. Not for glory. But for a life with you. I would rather be your consort in peace than a king alone in gold."

Her heart trembled. She had grown fond of Thidor—perhaps even come to adore him. Yet a wall remained: the memory of George, and the first love that still haunted her. Could she betray him? Or had he already betrayed her with his absence, his carelessness?

Every glance from George stirred old desires; every word from Thidor soothed wounds George had left. Torn between a love that wounded and a devotion that healed, Marilyn stood on the edge of a cruel choice.

One night, she stood in the Temple of Stars, where the gods were said to hear true hearts. She prayed not for guidance, but for courage. And there, as dawn broke through stained glass, she whispered: "Let me choose not just who loves me most—but who teaches me to love myself."

so whom she is gonna choose between George and Thidor? Will her decision might effect on herself later ? Is George gonna love her back again ? And what will happen toThidor ....
