Lionel suddenly placed the giant snake's whole body and decapitated head on the floor.
"EEEK!" the receptionist shouted.
Then everyone saw the scene.

"Isn't that the legendary snake? The Level 50 one! Not even A-rank adventurers can defeat those!"
The commotion started. "Did that handsome young man defeat that? Wow, he's so cool!"
"Sir Lionel, I'll call the guild master now. There's no excuse anymore. But I won't tell her about your stats!"
The receptionist ran and called the guild master.
"What's the commotion here?" the guild master asked.
The guild master was a beautiful woman with red hair.
Wow! Is that the guild master? Lionel thought.
"Quiet, everyone! Go back to your areas!" the guild master shouted.
"Hello! My name is Reina von Leina. I'm the guild master here! Why do I have a last name? I'm one of the masters of the Right Tower. I'm a swordsman. Nice to meet you, Lionel!"
They shook hands.
"It's an honor to meet you, Guild Master!"
Lionel bowed to show respect.
"You're a strong man! And handsome too!" the guild master said in a flirty way. "So how do I say this? Your rank will be raised to A-rank. This snake has been a problem in the kingdom for a very long time, but the knights keep ignoring our requests. Thank you for doing this job for us!" The guild master bowed.
"No, you don't have to bow down. It's not even that big of a deal!"
"What do you mean, not a big deal?"
"But why didn't you handle it yourself? If you're that strong and one of the masters too," Lionel asked.
"I'm also a professor at the academy, so I'm busy!" the guild master replied.
"Kira! Change his guild card!" The guild master called the receptionist. "Hand me your card."
"Okay, here." Lionel handed it over.
A few minutes later...
"Here's your new guild card. You're officially an A-rank adventurer!"
After the guild master handed over the guild card...
"Hey! Want to join my party?"
"No, join mine!"
"Can we form a party?"
The commotion started again. Then Lionel suddenly moved fast and was gone.
"This speed really comes in handy—"
He got out, but a familiar crest was suddenly waiting outside.
"Stop right there!" a familiar voice shouted. "Where do you think you're going? We've been looking for you!"
"Why?"
"Why do you need to ask? Come with us!"
They took Lionel this time. He didn't escape. He followed their orders so he wouldn't be kicked out of the kingdom. He was now in the king's throne room.

A few minutes later, after whispering to each other, they finally made a decision.
"Lionel! I hereby declare you will rank up to be one of the masters of the Right Tower. You will be the third sword master of the Right Tower!"
"What! My King, this is insane. I won't allow that! We haven't even tested his real strength!" one of the nobles declared.
"Yes, he's right!" every noble replied.
"Okay! Let's take him to the arena and make him fight one of the sword masters of the Right Tower!"
The Arena Battle
Everyone walked out and went to the arena. The journalists announced that the new sword master would be tested and had to fight a current sword master. Everyone was free to watch the battle.
A few hours later, it started.
Lionel would face off against Reinhardt Van Solmere, The Crescent Fang. He was also a professor at the academy and a strong Level 75.
"Are you ready, kid? Don't worry, I will finish this in sec—"
"What did you say?"
Lionel suddenly appeared in front of him with his sword pointed at Reinhardt's neck.
