Chapter 117 - Chapter 114 - Battle of Kyoto (V)

The dust raised by the impact of the fall still hung in the air, like a dense cloud that hid the horizon. In the center of the crater opened by the collision, Quetzalcoatl remained smiling, her arms firm around the neck of the Super Demon that still struggled violently.

"¡Vamos, grandote! Don't tell me that's all you've got, huh?"

She pressed harder, the golden glow expanding throughout her entire body. The creature roared, opening its black wings in a brutal movement, and in response the earth cracked even more beneath them. A suffocating energy escaped from its body, as if every muscle was made for destruction.

Quetz didn't back down. On the contrary, she threw her weight forward and pulled it into an arm lock that would make any professional wrestler shrink in shame. The ground trembled again when she smashed it against the rocks.

From atop the hill, Nero watched the scene with an almost offended look.

"A fight like this and she decides to turn it into a circus spectacle?! Tsk, what a lack of class!" The empress spun her gleaming blade, scattering golden sparks in the air. "It's a good thing that I, Nero Claudius, will show everyone the true definition of glory on the battlefield!"

"You talk too much, you know?" Mordred laughed loudly, Clarent still shining in her hands while she kept the other Super Demon occupied. "If you have so much time for speeches, it's because the enemy is too weak!"

"Weak?!" Nero widened her eyes and puffed out her chest, offended as if someone had insulted her very existence. "How dare you? This beast is worthy, yes, of facing Roman glory! You understand nothing about spectacles!"

"It's not theater, you show-off! It's war!"

While the two exchanged taunts even in the midst of the chaos, the Super Demon under Quetzalcoatl's arms gathered strength and released a wave of black energy that spread like a corrosive explosion. Rocks melted on impact, and the dust turned into poisonous smoke.

Quetzalcoatl narrowed her eyes, still smiling, and raised her voice above the roar:

"¡Eso sí que é mejor! ¡Vamos, mais forte, mais rápido! I want to feel your true fighting spirit!"

The black flames spread across the field, but she crossed through them without hesitation, her muscles tense and her skin shining in golden light. In an agile movement, she jumped high with the enemy still trapped in her arms.

For an instant, it seemed like the entire sky was illuminated by her golden aura.

"¡LUCHA… FINAL!"

With a perfect spin, she smashed the Super Demon against the ground for the third time, opening a new crater that swallowed the previous one. The impact swept the dust in all directions like an explosion.

Even so, the creature got up. Its body was covered in wounds, wings torn in several places, but its red eyes burned even more intensely than before.

Quetzalcoatl let out a warm laugh, wiping the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand.

"¡Ufufu! That's how I like it. You can really take it, ¿verdad? Then… you won't have a choice. I'll have to use a special move on you."

Her eyes shone, but there was no arrogance in them, just that unwavering passion that always drove her.

"Because a real fight needs emotion from both sides, cielito."

The Super Demon's body trembled.

The wounds opened by Quetzalcoatl's brutal force closed in a single instant, flesh and bones reconstructing as if time had been rewound just for it. The wings, previously torn, opened again in all their imposingness, each black feather radiating suffocating energy.

"Regeneración instantánea…" Quetzalcoatl murmured, furrowing her brows. "This is going to be problematic, cielito."

The creature raised one of its claws slowly, almost in disdain, and just the pressure of the movement distorted the air around it. The energy accumulated at its tip wasn't common magic, it was pure conversion of matter into energy, a spark capable of releasing the force of a continental eruption. If that were fired at Kyoto, not even the city's foundations would remain.

Quetzalcoatl smiled, as if she had expected exactly that.

"¡Perfecto! I won't let you hit anyone, of course, but… I'm already excited!"

The strike came without warning. A beam of black energy expanded, cutting the air in a perfect straight line, thin as a scalpel, devastating as a meteor collision.

Quetzalcoatl advanced against it, her body enveloped in golden light. With a quick spin, she twisted her torso and blocked the creature's advance with her forearm, the impact exploding in seismic waves that cracked kilometers of soil.

"¡Heh! You're fast, big guy!"

The Demon roared, and in an instant, disappeared from in front of her. It appeared behind, the claw descending diagonally.

Quetzalcoatl spun on her axis and raised her knee, intercepting the strike with a force that made the air scream around them. The impact resonated like thunder, each clash of their bodies spreading shockwaves that cut distant trees like invisible blades.

They exchanged dozens of blows in seconds. Fist against claw. Knee against wing. Elbow against jaws. Each collision left the space around oscillating as if it couldn't withstand the absurd pressure.

Quetzalcoatl was radiant.

"¡Maravilhoso! You're like a real fighter! No tricks, just strength, speed, and instinct!"

The Demon didn't respond, but its red gaze burned with murderous fury. It increased its speed even more, moving beyond human perception.

And, for the first time, Quetzalcoatl was forced to step back.

The ground beneath her crumbled, cracking like glass. She took a deep breath, laughing in the midst of the chaos.

"¡Ufufu! So you still had that up your sleeve? Well then, cielito… now it's my turn!"

She jumped forward, her fist enveloped in shining gold. The Super Demon also raised its claw.

The two collided.

The sound wasn't of a simple impact, but the roar of a natural catastrophe. Nearby mountains shuddered, the entire forest around was uprooted by the air displacement. Shockwaves crossed valleys like invisible tsunamis, breaking rocks into dust.

Even so, neither yielded.

Quetzalcoatl, with her smile wide open and her gaze shining.

The battle took on proportions bordering on the absurd. Each exchanged blow was like the meeting of two natural disasters. The air vibrated, the earth split, and even the horizon seemed to shudder before the collision between the goddess of combat and the monster that carried enough power to extinguish entire nations.

Quetzalcoatl was a golden lightning bolt in constant motion. Her feet barely touched the ground before shattering it, and each punch she threw was accompanied by a wave of energy that swept kilometers. She didn't hesitate, didn't retreat, didn't slow down, fighting with the same passion with which she embraced life.

The Super Demon, in turn, was a living wall. Its black claws cut the air at invisible speeds, each attack accompanied by micro-explosions of energy. Space distorted around it; the pressure was so great that the simple flap of its wings toppled smaller mountains in the distance.

"¡Eso es! ¡Mais forte!" Quetzalcoatl shouted, intercepting a claw with her forearm and returning a powerful hook to the creature's chin.

The impact raised a column of dust and made the Demon's skull turn to the side with a dry snap. But before the head even completed the movement, it had already regenerated. The broken vertebrae snapped, returning to place in a blink.

"Too fast…" murmured Quetzalcoatl, still smiling. "But not faster than I can take down."

She dove back into the offensive. Elbows, knees, headbutts, arm locks, everything was part of her dance. No matter the size difference, she treated that colossal monster as if it were just another opponent in a ring.

The Demon roared, its wings expanding in a flare of black energy. It disappeared in a blink and reappeared above her, descending in free fall with both claws ready to crush her.

Quetzalcoatl didn't wait. She jumped high, her legs shining in gold, and intercepted it in the air with a devastating knee to the chest.

The roar that followed wasn't just from the monster, but from the entire atmosphere. The shockwave opened a crater in the sky, pushing the clouds away in all directions. The Demon's body was thrown back, crossing an entire cliff before colliding against the rock and reducing the mountain to pieces.

Quetzalcoatl landed lightly on the ground, spinning on her heels, and raised her still-vibrating fist.

"¡Uno! Already down once!"

The dust had barely dispersed when the Demon emerged again. Intact. The wounds disappeared before they even formed. Its red gaze seemed even more furious, and the pressure around grew until it crushed the vegetation for kilometers.

It charged with renewed speed. The claw passed centimeters from her face, cutting the air like a molecular blade. The pressure was so great that a wall of rock behind them was sliced silently before crumbling in a cascade.

Quetzalcoatl spun sideways, avoiding the blow, and responded with a straight punch to the stomach. The impact pierced through the creature's body, bending it backward at an impossible angle and hurling it across the valley. The soil exploded in concentric waves as if a meteor had collided there.

"¡Dos!" shouted Quetzalcoatl, already running after it.

The Demon barely touched the ground before recomposing itself and jumping again. Its wings closed, transforming into living blades that spun against her in cutting movements.

Quetzalcoatl spun in the air, dodging by centimeters, and grabbed one of the wings with her left hand. The creature tried to free itself, but had no time — with the other hand, she pulled the monster toward the ground and smashed it against a stone wall.

The boom resonated across the entire battlefield, raising fragments the size of houses.

"¡Tres! Come on, big guy, don't disappoint me now!"

The Demon howled. Its aura exploded in black energy, and for the first time, it managed to hit. A claw pierced Quetzalcoatl's shoulder, tearing flesh and bone, sending a torrent of golden blood into the air.

But she laughed.

"¡Bien! That's how I like it!"

Instead of retreating, she advanced. With the claw still stuck in her body, Quetzalcoatl clenched her fist and delivered a cross punch to the creature's face. The blow was so intense that the air exploded in circular waves. The Demon's skull split in two, scattering black fragments across the valley.

She twisted her body, pulling the claw out of herself with a brusque movement, and kicked the monster back against the ground.

"¡Cuatro! You'll get up again, right?!"

The Demon's body regenerated once more, even reduced to pieces. The tissue reorganized like a liquid wave, the bones snapping back into their original form. It rose, exhaling black smoke, even more monstrous than before.

Quetzalcoatl wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, still smiling. Her eyes shone not with anger, but with pure joy.

"¡Eres increíble! An endless destruction machine! Pero…" She took a deep breath, her tone becoming more serious. "You're fighting me. And I am Quetzalcoatl, goddess of war and combat. ¡No ring, yo mando!"

She advanced again, this time faster than before. The Demon tried to move, but her fist had already hit its jaw. Then, an elbow to the ribs. A spinning kick that broke its wings in two. Each attack came accompanied by golden explosions, as if stars were being crushed in each impact.

The monster barely had time to regenerate before being hit again. It roared, attacked, but Quetzalcoatl didn't stop, blow after blow, each time stronger.

It was a divine beating, a display that mixed brutality with passion.

Finally, Quetzalcoatl grabbed the Demon's neck with both hands, lifted it above her head, and shouted:

"¡Y este es… o último round!"

Spinning her body, she hurled it against the soil with enough force to make the entire valley tremble. The earth opened in gigantic fissures, rivers changed course, and the smoke rose until it swallowed the sky.

In the middle of the crater, the Super Demon was motionless, its body regenerating once more… but slowly this time.

Quetzalcoatl breathed deeply, her shoulders rising and falling, but the smile never left her face.

"¡Ufufu… qué lindo combate! Pero we're not done yet, cielito. Until you recognize that you lost, I'll keep knocking you down."

She raised her fists again, ready for the next round.

The clash of forces continued, each punch from Quetzalcoatl against the Super Demon shaking the world. The earth shattered under their feet, the skies trembled with the impact of each exchange of blows. But, even with the creature's absurd regeneration, it was clear: it was being dominated.

Quetzalcoatl advanced like a golden avalanche. Her fists, knees, and elbows hit with superhuman precision, each impact crushing bones, tearing flesh, and sending the Demon back like a rag doll. With every second, she smiled more.

"¡Anda, grandote! Isn't this the best you can do?!"

The Super Demon roared in fury, regenerating, trying to counterattack with claws and blasts of black energy capable of disintegrating mountains. But Quetzalcoatl moved like a divine fighter, dodging, spinning, breaking attacks midway with elbows or devastating kicks.

A headbutt from her opened a crater in the ground by smashing the monster's skull against the rock. It regenerated in instants, but was already staggering under the relentless rhythm.

Then, Quetzalcoatl retreated.

During the fight, she had retreated enough from the others to use her Noble Phantasm and end it quickly.

The [Piedra Del Sol – Solar Calendar Stone], that was Quetzalcoatl's Noble Phantasm and trump card. It is a megalith from the ancient Aztecs, famous for housing the Aztec calendar, which, according to reports, showed the entire past and present of the world. With 3.75 meters in diameter, this megalith appears above as a true "gate," projecting part of its authority due to Quetzalcoatl being the great foundation of this activity. Intense solar winds spread over a vast expanse, reflecting the divine majesty of its bearer.

When used in the Babylonian Singularity, even retaining only half of her divinity, Quetzalcoatl managed to evaporate most of Tiamat's Chaos Tide with this Noble Phantasm. Ishtar speculates that, if Quetzalcoatl had used the Piedra Del Sol in the city of Uruk, the entire city would have been vaporized. This feat deeply impressed Corrupted Ushiwakamaru, who stated that only a Noble Phantasm capable of concentrating all the magical energy of an entire era would be able to destroy the Sea of Life, implying that only the Bands of Light in the sky could rival Tiamat.

The difference from the previous era is that, being summoned by Kazuya in this world, her current level was far superior to what she had during the Seventh Singularity.

With the true power of her Noble Phantasm in hand, destroying a mere Super Demon was as easy as crushing an ant with a finger.

Suddenly, flames appeared in her palm, golden fire, intense, that illuminated the entire battlefield as if a miniature sun had just been born there.

With her eyes closed, she began to chant.

"The past is here."

The flame shone brighter, the heat making the air tremble and the rocks around crack.

"The present is here."

She raised her hand toward the sky. Above her, a colossal magical circle formed, filled with rotating Aztec symbols. The solar calendar resplended, golden and blue lightning tearing the skies, as if the firmament itself answered the call.

"The future is here!"

The circle shone so brightly that the entire horizon was tinged with gold. The Super Demon growled, instinctively retreating before the divine pressure descending upon it.

"Come the winds, come the lightning!"

The air split in thunders. Electric currents cut the sky and crashed against the ground.

Each lightning bolt that jumped from the Aztec calendar carried electric charges so dense that they generated magnetic fields capable of distorting the atmosphere on a local scale. The concentration of energy made space-time vibrate, creating plasma microwaves that instantly heated the soil and air, transforming moisture into explosive vapor.

"When the morning star shines... let all know that the Sun's light reaches every corner of the Earth!"

At that instant, from the center of the magical circle descended an incandescent stone, red like pure magma.

Quetzalcoatl grabbed it firmly, and as soon as her fingers closed around it, her hand was swallowed by intense and blinding golden flames, as if she had captured the very heart of the sun.

She took a deep breath, her muscles tensing, her eyes burning in flames, and with a passionate shout declared:

"¡Piedra del Sol!"

The goddess's fist ignited the air as she advanced. The impact of her punch colliding against the Super Demon's chest was accompanied by an explosion so bright that it seemed the sun itself had plummeted upon the Earth.

The wave of destruction swept everything. Entire mountains were pulverized, rivers evaporated in instants, and the earth opened in magma scars that extended for kilometers. The Super Demon didn't even have time to scream, its body, its essence, and even its regeneration were obliterated, reduced to nothing by the solar force.

The glare lasted long seconds, consuming the world around.

The golden glare of the [Piedra del Sol] still burned on the horizon when a new glow, different, began to spread across the battlefield.

It was a more refined gold, accompanied by intense red, like the fabric of a grand stage being raised to receive its star.

From the top of the hill, Nero Claudius raised her arm in a theatrical gesture, and around her body multiple columns of light emerged. Each one exploded into fragments of fire and scarlet petals, which spun in the air as if celebrating her arrival.

"Fuuh…" She sighed, displaying a confident smile while the sparks clung to her body. "The feathered goddess had her moment, but now… it's time for the true star to shine."

The flames molded into fabric and metal. Golden shoulder pads took shape, descending in elegant plates as if they were part of imperial armor. The gleaming bust, adorned with vivid red details, reflected the artificial sunlight from Quetzalcoatl. A short skirt, in Roman cuts, descended in metallic layers, each movement producing reflections that resembled living embers.

Behind her, two enormous red ribbons opened like wings of flaming silk, dancing in the wind. A light crown rested on her head, not just an adornment, but the declaration that there stood Rome personified.

That was her [Mythological Mystic Code of the Emperor], which thanks to her master she could access whenever she wanted.

Nero opened her green eyes, which sparkled like incandescent emeralds.

"Behold! The battlefield stage accepts no mediocrity! Today, Nero Claudius, the empress who will never know defeat, is reborn in her attire worthy of Olympus and the Colosseum!"

Although her transformation took no more than a moment, the Super Demon she faced roared, darkness condensing around its body. The black wings expanded, and a "gravitic sphere" was born between its claws. It was small at first glance, but the pressure emanating from it made light itself curve, as if the entire battlefield were being sucked into an abyss without return.

Rocks melted in the air, the soil creaked, trees were disintegrated into dust.

Nero didn't retreat.

"You want to swallow me in your darkness? Hah! What a pathetic attempt before a star that never fades!"

With a theatrical spin, the empress raised the [Aestus Estus: Original Flame].

The Super Demon's attack was fired.

The unstable micro black hole was launched like a world-devouring projectile. The extreme gravity made the layers of air tear in booms, as if thousands of thunders exploded at the same time.

Nero moved.

In less than a fraction of a second, she had disappeared from human field of vision, crossing the distance as if she had torn space.

To ordinary eyes, it was as if dozens of Neros were dancing around the enemy.

The blade cut the air.

The sphere of darkness was split in half before even reaching its peak, fragmenting into particles that dispersed like ashes. The impact was so subtle before her speed that the Super Demon didn't even notice when its weapon was nullified.

"Ahaha! Did you see that? The stage doesn't wait for hesitants!"

Nero advanced again. Her sword described a ruby arc, clashing against the monster's black claw. The impact echoed like the clash between worlds, but Nero was no longer there. Before the Demon could react, it received a spinning kick to the chin, too fast for regeneration to keep up.

The creature staggered.

The combat turned into a symphony of blows. Thousands in a matter of seconds. Sword against claw, fist against wing, knee against abdomen. Each of Nero's attacks came accompanied by golden sparks and fire petals, as if the universe itself applauded her spectacle.

"Uno!"

The sword descended, cutting the black flesh from shoulder to waist.

"Dos!"

A spinning kick hurled the Demon against a stone wall, which crumbled like paper.

"Tres!"

She advanced, cutting again. The blade pierced the creature's body and continued its path, extending across an entire archipelago of mountains behind. The rocks were split in half silently before collapsing in titanic cascades, as if the geography itself had been redrawn by the empress.

The Super Demon tried to retaliate.

From the darkness of its wings were born gravitational whirlwinds, vortices that sucked everything into themselves. It was like standing before a collection of miniature black holes, each compressing the space around.

But Nero just laughed, her flaming sword spinning in her hand.

She crossed the whirlwinds as if they were fragile curtains, her speed so absurd that the gravitational forces simply didn't have time to trap her. Space folded behind her, creating arcs of luminous distortion that resembled auroras in the night sky.

The Super Demon roared, trying to grab her with multiple claws.

Nero, in response, advanced in a fierce dance. Her body moved as if on a grand stage, each blow a choreography, each cut a note of the flaming opera she herself composed.

Thousands of blows.

In seconds, the Demon's body was marked by countless cuts.

Each wound regenerated, but was immediately reopened by another attack, another blow, another flame.

Nero Claudius didn't retreat. Her smile burned like eternal fire, her green eyes shining in defiance.

"See, graceless beast? This is the spectacle of Nero Claudius! Not even infinite darkness can extinguish the shine of my flame!"

In the last cut, the [Aestus Estus] shone in incandescent red. She drove the blade into the creature's chest, and a glare pierced not only the Demon's body, but also the sky, opening a flaming fissure that extended as far as the eye could see.

The creature screamed, but its voice was swallowed by the light, being totally felled by her attack.

But she wasn't the only one who had just killed her enemy.

On the other side of the battlefield, the earth trembled.

Cracks opened in the soil as Mordred's figure advanced, each step echoing like muffled thunder. The helmet rose, revealing the murderous shine of her eyes, and Clarent was already raised, shining like a furious heart.

"Enough games…" She growled, spitting the words like venom.

Her enemy was annoying! A Super Demon that kept using illusions had no fun, so she decided to end it quickly!

Her [Mythological Mystic Code] activated, she called it [True King's Code].

Red runic circles enveloped the armor and transformed it completely, a crown of twisted blades rose over her head, resembling a fusion between a royal crown and iron thorns. Each point of the crown shone in burning red, as if made of incandescent crystal,

lightning snaked across the entire field, and magical energy began to accumulate on a scale that broke any notion of human or divine limit.

Clarent shone in a burning ruby.

The air around was shattered, fragmented into layers of pure magical pressure.

"I am not the king, but someone who walks behind her."

"For the king's tranquility, I will destroy all enemies!"

"CLARENT… BLOOD… ARTHURRRRRRR!!!"

Mordred's shout echoed like a war thunder.

The blade released its fury.

The sky tore.

A colossal pillar of red energy, intertwined by countless crimson lightning bolts, descended like the final execution of a furious god. The power was not just comparable but equivalent to a rain of multiple shots from Rhongomyniad. It was as if Mordred, in that instant, had claimed for herself not only the sword stolen from her father, but also the right to rival the sacred spear that pierced reality.

The Super Demon didn't even have time to react.

Its body was crushed in fractions of a second, everything obliterated until not even dust remained. The impact crossed the battlefield, devastating everything for kilometers around. Mountains were leveled, forests evaporated, and even the horizon seemed to have been scratched off the map by that red glare that consumed the skies.

When the light finally dissipated, only silence remained.

A charged, heavy silence, as if reality itself were stunned.

Mordred panted as her [Mythological Mystic Code] deactivated, leaning Clarent on the ground. The metal still shone in vivid red, spitting sparks of electricity. She raised her face, her eyes burning in defiance, while smiling slightly.

She quickly turned her attention to two people who approached.

Salter walked ahead with Excalibur Morgan still dripping black energy. Her voice was firm, but loaded with that characteristic coldness:

"... Not bad. But you took too long to finish with just one enemy."

Mordred gritted her teeth, gripping Clarent firmly.

"Tch... always have to belittle, don't you?"

Before she could retort more, Jeanne Alter slammed her flag on the ground, the flames surrounding her exploding with the gesture.

"Tsc...." She clicked her tongue and cast a sideways glance at the Tyrant King: "And you there, standing like a statue. Don't you think you're a bit… out of place to give an opinion? After all, who was it that reduced that thing to dust?"

Salter raised her eyes slowly.

"You talk too much...." She responded in a low voice, almost disinterested, but the venom was in the subtlety: "A dog that barks so much is usually trying to convince itself of what it did...."

Jalter's eyes sparked, but before she could retort again, a golden gust illuminated the sky.

Quetzalcoatl landed.

Her smile was as vibrant as the heat that enveloped her.

"¡Excelente! Everyone finished quickly with their enemies!" She looked at Mordred and winked lightly: "And you, niña, very well! It was beautiful to watch."

"Don't treat me like a child." Mordred retorted, blushing slightly, but Quetzalcoatl just laughed tenderly, ignoring the aggressive tone.

It was then that everyone turned their gaze to the horizon.

Atop a ruined hill, two silhouettes collided. Musashi was there, her two katanas flaming in blue aura, facing a Swordsman Super Demon.

Unlike the other creatures, that demon fought with discipline. Each strike of its colossal blade opened craters in the ground, but Musashi spun her swords at impossible angles, dodging lightly, laughing in the midst of the fight.

"Ufufu… you're really good! But not enough!" Her voice sounded clear even from there, loaded with excitement.

The final clash toppled the entire hill, the landscape swallowed in light and dust.

The Super Demon advanced, the black blade in hand trembling as if the air itself surrendered to the cut. Each blow was capable of slicing the ground, the rocks, even deforming the space around. Even so, Musashi didn't retreat, seeing that the others had finished their battles, she also decided to end her fight at that moment.

She took a deep breath, her eyes calm and serene, as if the enemy's fury were just a passing breeze.

"Time to take this seriously."

When the enemy attacked, Musashi advanced. The Super Demon's blow cut the air, tearing space as if it wanted to erase everything in its path. But for her, there was no surprise, no danger.

She moved the sword. Not with force, but with absolute certainty.

As a swordswoman who achieved [Nothingness], her skills surpassed time, space, and existence, transforming her sword into a blade that reduces all existence to a single possibility and becomes one with Nothingness. She wields a sword of zero, designed to bring an end that is inevitable even for gods and Buddha, she doesn't limit herself to eliminating only results, but also to creating a new possibility while eliminating all others.

In a single movement, her sword met the enemy. A clean, precise cut, that didn't need to destroy, just seal the end.

The Super Demon didn't even have a chance to react, since her opponent's skills transcend time, space, and existence, leading her to a realm of nothingness without time or space, devoid of thought and feeling, beyond the fissure of reality and dreams. In this realm, which explicitly is not a pruned or parallel world, at every moment her sword collides with Kojirou's, infinite possibilities would unfold and the infinite and zero would collide infinitely.

Musashi's principle of Zero is such that not even Buddha and the Gods, higher-dimensional beings who transcend space-time and see everything as a book, could escape it.

The Super Demon's blade was divided, the monstrous body simply disappeared, dissolving in the air.

And with that, the last battle came to an end!

Atop a distant hill, kilometers from anything that still resembled the battlefield, the air seemed heavier.

There they were: Shuten Douji, with her provocative smile and gaze loaded with satisfaction, casually leaning against an enormous sake bottle, and Yasaka standing by her side while sighing in relief. Both observed the vastness

below, like silent spectators of a drama that was already concluding.

Shuten Douji sighed, a deep and satisfied sound that seemed to cut the silence. Her eyes shone with a touch of amusement and impatience.

"Finally… it's over and I didn't even need to help any of them..." She said with a pout on her face: "My anata would have been happy if I told him how I helped my sisters from his imperial harem. But, damn… they took too long...."

Yasaka remained silent, just adjusting her posture slightly, as if pondering something deeper than simple words could express. Chaldea was truly scary....

Without a doubt, it was the strongest Organization in the world!

Fortunately, she made the right choice in allying with them...
